Neither is Mr Player though.
One USA, one Europe.
Yes Snead as I am typing. Well done, but who is the other one.

Well Kwinni done.
Can't see any modern day golfers winning over six decades, even though they are starting much younger.
your turn!

Re: Golf Quiz[z]
Who am I?
1).I have three top 3 finishes in Majors, but no top tens in the Open Championship.
2).I have represented my country in the Ryder or Presidents Cup three times.
3).In the mid-90's I missed 46 consecutive PGA Tour cuts.
More clues available as necessary.

I doubt if it counts but Bob Charles won the Open Championship and the Senior British Open (in 1993).
Think they both fit the bill pd.

I give up... but if by any chance the second '9' is in fact a '6', then that could be Gary Player...Maverick wrote:A clue.... 9 regular majors and 9 senior tour majors

Re: Golf Quiz[z]
Surely it's not my turn again?
Last week's Walker Cup featured a player whose name is an anagram of that of a well known British footballer (full international) and manager. Most of his playing career was in the 60's and 70's, managed until the '90's.
Over 500 League appearances, over 100 goals, and a First Division Championship winners medal! Over 20 international caps.
No full names count, Michael Stewart for instance.
Come on, who is the golfer, who is the footballer?
