Re: Golf Quiz[z]
Yes, has to be him. Preferred the old Morrison to the new one though.
Ok, me again. Who am I?
-I share the name (both first and surname) with a famous actor
-The particular actor is no longer alive
-It is fair to say that the actor was a typecast

Ted Ray?
Not sure about the type-casting except that he was a comedian and comic actor.

No, not Ted Ray.
Hint: you have to think out of the box - and then maybe not.

Re: Golf Quiz[z]
OK, my turn then...
From its first edition untill 2011, there have been a total of 75 Masters editions and obviously 75 winners. Nearly half of these winners belong to only 3 zodiac signs (each of these 3 signs are quite clearly ahead of the others in that respect). What are these 3 signs?
I'm afraid I'll have to accept only complete answers (with ALL 3 signs), otherwise it would be too easy to guess/eliminate them one by one...

The sign of the Tiger, Shark and Golden Bear?

Re: Golf Quiz[z]
The Shark and Golden Bear are both Aquarius, and that is indeed one of the 3 signs (12 winners). Tiger's a Capricorn, but that's not one of the top 3 (it's actually the 4th with 8 winners, mostly due to Tiger, of course)...

btw, the Shark never won the Masters, so he's no contribution there...

Re: Golf Quiz[z]
OK, I think I'd better give you the answer to this very important question... So, if you're an Aquarius (12 wins), Gemini (12) or a Virgo (11) you stand a great chance to win the Masters! At the opposite pole, if you're a Taurus (only 1 winner - Mike Weir), forget it...!
And that's the scientific explanation as to why Rory and Lee have been struggling to win the Masters - they're both Taurus!

I went to the same high school as a glee cast member, an astronaut, a pro bowler and a dolphin. Who am I?

Well, Paul Lawrie did win the Open as well, but I was referring to another (single major) Open winner. And I think the dolphin was from Miami...

Actually, now that I think about it more, there is another close connection between my man, Paul Lawrie and the Open (apart from the fact that they both won it and they're both single major winners)...

Re: Golf Quiz[z]
Expect that was Adam Vinatieri and I think he's from North Dakota.
I was thinking of Lawrence Tynes, but it turns out he went to High School at the same place as, I think, Boo Weekley, Heath Slocum and Bubba!

Definately him Kwini thinking about, i'm getting him confused with Tynes who won SuperBowl with the NY GIants, getting my Manning family teams and superbowls mixed up

Mac, I think what you are failing to realise is that most people on here will have never seen a nanosecond of Glee, let alone know anyone on it.
It's a prepubescent kinds programme, for christ sake.

...and btw, the connection to Paul Lawrie I was referring to was of course the fact that Leonard was the 'not so famous' loser in the '99 Carnoustie playoff which Lawrie won...

What impresses me about Leonard is that he seems to win tournaments almost every year, yet always go low on the radar.

Wee fitba one to break the spell.
Which Scottish player scored in two European cup finals before 1971
I was surprised by this one, found out by reading Alan Brazil's pretty awful book.
