The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current props' pictures on the bar. We've got Castrogiovanni, Beast, the Franks brothers, Mas, Tonga'uiha, Roncero, Cian Healey (as demanded by Hughie), Stevens, Murray, Mike Ross, Adam Jones and Steenkamp all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Here I say isn't the Irish team named in a few hours? Come on someone else has to be on here. Chat back. All my friends are on the dancefloor and I stay clear of there unless I have a blood alcohol content in excess of 0.04.

Ireland team up. Conor Murray and Ronan O'Gara start at halfback, pack and outside backs unchanged from Australia. Andrew Trimble must settle for a place on the bench.

It was expected. The Ireland training pics said it all. I think Deccie has to learn to switch a few shirts in them
And I agree with the team. 2 Munster Boys for 2 Leinster boys. We must win this game.
Would have had Trimble to start. But heyho, Earls is Deccies Love-child.

Puma: Quite right, too. Mine is on the golf course, so I'll be buying what I want.

Whoo. Left open-mouthed - bit of a conversation stopper.
I like russets too, I hope that's not fatal.

As long as the players don't think the same. That's where the lack of Ulster and Connaught players will help.

The Rovers actually tried to play football in patches last night. Still don't attacke enough for the quality they have. Big Dan Murray was superb for them hope he returns someday. When Spurs were arsed though they won the match.

Bore da pawb / good morning all, Friday is upon us!
My older sister used to love Poison. At the time, my dad was quite a mover and shaker at our church and every other Monday evening he'd have a load of the elders over; they'd have the living room and we'd have to go to our rooms. My sister's bedroom was directly above the living room and, rebellious teen that she was, she would put her hi-fi speakers face down on the floor and play Poison's 'Flesh and Blood' album to put the elders off their prayers / seance / whatever they were doing.

A combo of '70s glam, '70s rock music and the '80s decadant attitude...
Some great tunes came out from it though - if you like cheese.

It must have been the fumes from all that hairspray they were using.
I'm listening to commentary of South Africa v Samoa; say what you want about Nigel Owens, but the players are never in any doubt of what he wants from them when he's refereeing.

Samoa hanging in there but SA appear to be in control. I think I tipped the same margin as Biltong - 25.

Lucky - I can't decide which they used more - drugs or hairspray. Ah it was a great time. I really liked all that glam metal crap. I've still got some of the albums I had at the time, and fair do's some of the songs are just great pop/rock songs.
I haven't got any rugby on here. What's the score?
