Re: ENG vs FRA - Match Thread - Team announcement, Chat & Banter etc...
They will, but it is very early doors. If Eng don't ship a try in the next 10-15 the French tend to get frustrated and then the English structure will tell. Just hope this 10/12 combo doesn't make Eng lateral against a very scramble French defence...no carrier until Tuilagi

better by England, going through the phases.
They just need to calm themselves, keep their composure, be patient.

France played in the opening minutes like they did vs NZ - difference is this time they've scored.

France are going to get caught out down the narrow side. They're always a man short. That's the area NZ and Tonga exploited them in.
England need to smarten up and look for the gaps. You can't rely on the crash ball working all day.

Re: ENG vs FRA - Match Thread - Team announcement, Chat & Banter etc...
England need to be very careful with that endless stream of penalties 5 meters out. Luckily almost they conceded a try there, or they'd likely be down to 14 men already.

I understand we can't pass. That's just a skill set we don't seem to have but why do they play like retards? Giving away pointless, stupid penalties?

England look stunned. They need to regroup asap, because if you give the French a lead they become rampant. Wales saw this to their cost in the 6N's where they absolutely smashed us off the pitch.

Hmmm, do you think Pallison kicked away the ball after scoring so the conversion could use a different one? . It didn't help mind you.

Well I'm not in the least bit surprised, England need 10 points before halftime, and if 1 point were a possibility - they wouldn't get that.
The biggest halftime turnaround in WC history is 13 points.
