IRB is Int only isn't it?
Hard to see how Dus, Genia, Pocock & Weepu get on there on Int appearances alone.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Until the WC Genia
Because of the WC but underpinned by a good IRB season generally it has to be Kaino.
Genia was majestic in the Tri nations and player of SUper 15. Wc he was decent but did not rip up trees. Especially when the pack got battered.
played well against SA though

Brilliant S15 for Genia, was very good. But he's had a pretty average WC to be fair. Still a top Scrummie though

Apart from front row how much better does the Aussie side look. Built to attack which is what they are best at

Guys
As a tribute to Pete and to celebrate his fantastic two years running the league I have taken it to name the LV Cup the LDCpete cup or in short the Ozzy. Think it's the least we could do after all the time and effort he has put in over the 4 years.

Watching the Wales ireland game back as I was drinking from start of it on Germany before and what a game. I know lots of you on here are not Roberts fans but I always have been and think he was immense. When he runs through DOC and leaves him almost unconscious it was the 5th time he had handled in the move.
Always hated DOC so loved it a little too much. Been rewinding it and slo motioning it.
Phillips pass super crisp also which is buying time. Always said he has a massive pass just went off the boil.

Also warburton does a similar tackle on o'gara as to red card one however he does it just legally but another few degrees and could have been bad. Might be something he has to watch

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Warburton is almost too good a tackler in some instances - Clerc went up in the air because he got hit so well. I've been so impressed with how the Welsh have dealt with everything. I think only Mike Phillips has come out and said he hopes the All Blacks thrash the French...
Think France have been woeful, but it will be just like them to turn up in the final and win the game in style! Hope not.
I hope the IRB dont punish Gatland for his comments about thinking about faking an injury -

Ok then guys: with the form of Faletau and Jones seemingly being re-born. Take into account that Haskell is off to Japan and Easter could possibly be seen as struggling................................
Ben Morgan.......does he pick England or Wales??

Don't think I've ever seen Morgan play, hear he's pretty good and if there is anyone better than Waldrom we can pick then that's great for us!

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Ben Morgan is a good 8, be around Narraways level maybe although a bit thicker set. Just can't see him choosing England if he's already turned the Saxons down.
The O's Morgan is a worse version of Cipriani, looks too small to make the grade at FH imo

Matthew Morgan looks great in attack but not much in defence. Saw a bit of him v Exeter in the LV Cup the other day. Pooly pretty much nails my opinion on the head with what he said

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Meant to be join a London team Matt Morgan he's from Reading so it could be Irish.
Ben Morgan will need to come to the AP to play for England , He knocked back the Saxons because he was carrying an injury? And i think Scarlets where chasing play offs round the same time in the Magners?
Was on the Ospreys fans forum just one bloke saying it like so i don't know if there's any truth in it , i'm sure i saw it on here aswell on a Sam Warburton article because he was EQ prior to choosing Wales

Anyone watch Will Carling's 'this is the game' podcasts - quite amusing really, Scott Quinnell makes me laugh 'bet your boys are glad now Will, England no longer have the worst team to ever make a World Cup final'

Loads across the board in the NH. A lot of managers talking about getting them integrated back into the team ASAP. Maybe we're thinking too much about fatigue regarding the WC.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Lol - it pains me to say this but Wales have been my favourite team to watch this WC. If only they didnt lose Matthew Rees prior to the WC, Bennett's throwing cost them so much.
Like how Gatland trusted the youth - if only Johnson did the same with England. Will Carling is pushing for Nick Mallett to get the job if Johnson goes, with Mallinder, Edwards and Catt as coaches.
I can't see the RFU sacking Johnson, espc as all the players have come out supporting him - wholesale changes to coaching set up though!

It would be hilarious if France won
We both got knocked out by France, I'm confident we'd have beat Wales if we'd have met them

I want France to win without a doubt. Only way the final will be interesting. I can't see the French losing by a small margin. It will either be a French win or a NZ hammering

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
AAC came out and said that Roberts was the best player in the WC. Not a bad shout ITFL - would have Roussow, O'Connell. Weepu or Beale in mine though - not so sure on Falateau or Clerc - would have a lot of Welsh in though!
Whose everyone eyed up for next foreign transfers? Imagining that Falateu, North will be subject to a bidding war!
Also anyone got an xbox - i bought one today just for Jonah Lomu Rugby, looking forward to playing that!

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Don't think Isaac Ross is the right build for a prop IFL.
I'd go
1.Healy
2.Servat
3.Franks
4.Russouw
5.POC
6.Kaino
7.Warburton
8.Falatau
9.Phillips
10.Priestland
11.Clerc
12.Roberts
13.Tuilagi
14.North
15.Dagg
With regards to France , Do people think that there just doing enough to win and nothing more.

Think team of the tournament will look very different after saturday. Big name players come alive in the knockout stages. Look at the likes of clerc, mas and hari all have been sensational come the knockout same as mccaw etc

Quite funny how instantly people on fbk say where's the consistency due to the tackle. The only bad thing was the fact that because Shane was off balance he ended up flipping....fair tackle and a good hit.
Wales have to capitalise on Cooper going off now.

Prop, how come all Welsh can't be like you lol. I knew rubbish would start about that tackle, it was a great hit.
