The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of newly retired Gareth 'Alfie' Thomas.
Also a special picture of Thomas Domingo and wishing him all the best on a speedy recovery.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Micky good luck with the Chairmanship of the band. Is it for just one year or until they find some other mug to do it?
Remember NO band dates on the weekend of 20/21/22 April next year. Belfast date with the Hugmeister!

lucky,
Canard Enchaine would be closer to Private Eye.Charlie is flagrantly iconoclast, often more crude than subtile, politically very left of centre.

Staggy, if you had the time and inclination, I'd be very interested in hearing more about thatred_stag wrote:Hi all.
Picked up serious Karma points yesterday.
On way home from work gave a lift to a fella whose car ran out of petrol to a filling station and then dropped him back to his car. Was a bit aprehensive as he was a member of the travelling community but a nice fella all the same.
Then after my referee meeting I saw a guy passed out with his head under a parked car. No response from his after calling and shoving. So called an ambulance. Fella was drunk and took a bad fall hitting his head.
Also had a really really interesting referees meeting where George Clancy gave us a briefing about the RWC. Very interesting to hear it all.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Thanks Folks.
its voted in on a yearly basis so if I do a good job or want to take it on for years to come that's fine.
initially its going in as a Co-Chair role just to make sure I have the capacity to take it on. but the biggest issue is managing a committee of about 10.
There is a split there and they need managing so to speak. Had are first meeting last night and I made 4 simple changes that they feel already will make a big difference.
Cari, I smell fantastic the majority of the time.. -Mickado - tell her

Just watching Top 14. Biarritz look like Cannon Fodder in the HEC. They are in 14th place in the Top 14. Clermont look red hot.

Thanks for heads up Mick. Did you see the Perpignan player this weekend who knocked on over the line.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Didn't get to see the highlights this week;saw CO-RM92,ASM-BO,ST-SF in full on TV and SUA-MHRC in the flesh, but missed out on the games in Toulon and Bayonne. That would have given USAP a much needed victory.

It was hilariously funny knock on Mick - you really have to see it. I didn't see which player unfortunately.

Micky - I think it's cause I've never been in a situation where I really really have to be quiet and starting laughing hysterically.
Lucky - why not? You'll just help to put every bookshop in the country out of business and show off in front of people on the train/bus?

Afternoon, Hound. I'd only be reading it at home, really, so unless a burglar breaks in I won't get mugged for it.

I have a Kindle;I only use it at home,in waiting rooms or on public transport(not too many muggers on FlyBe)The choice of books available over here is limited, so I'll load it up in December.I also bought 24 real books at a book sale last Sunday

I’ve never actually used one but I believe the way the screen works is really cool, the lettering is actually raised as if it’s printed onto the screen so it does look a lot like an actual page. I personally don’t read that much but I like the idea of a kindle.
