The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of newly retired Gareth 'Alfie' Thomas.
Also a special picture of Thomas Domingo and wishing him all the best on a speedy recovery.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Rava,
Is that GG song to become Ulster's anthem?
It was the anthem of the 1998 French soccer team, and look what happened to them

Wasn’t it SF’s anthem when they were winning T14’s too?
Jeysus, there could be something to it…

Rava, I heard that 67% of all accidents occur at home. As our Health and Safety expert, do you suggest I move house?

Some more Wasps' news over here;Simon Shaw,at the club since 1997, has asked to leave "for personal reasons"
Those reasons could well be a sunny pay packet/retirement in the South of France

I've just had a letter back from Screwfix.
They said they regretted to inform me that they're not actually a dating agency.

Shawsy leaves with everyone's good wishes at the club. He's won everything possible in the English pro game
Though the fact he didn't play a minute in the 2003 RWC, but got a medal, has always rankled with him. I went to his curry night during his benefit year, and he's a cracking guy, and a very good club man.

Shaw will still offer something, even at 38. The best mauling lock I've ever seen, and anchors a scrum behind the loose head. Plus a good a great set of hands.

Serious knee problem,I think,Pete;will keep him out a while, so as he hadn't passed his medical at Toulon, they didn't take him although he'd signed a pre-contract.should have signed a full one, silly bugger

The wife has been missing for a week now.
The police told me I should prepare for the worst.
So I've been to the Charity shop to get all her clothes back.

Mick, City have been great to watch for most of the night. As they have been all season. Steak and roast potatoes with some homemade gravy. Lush. Sprained my ankle again though. Have to buy a support.
