First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of newly retired Gareth 'Alfie' Thomas.

Also a special picture of Thomas Domingo and wishing him all the best on a speedy recovery.

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Ireland 1-0 up v a now 10 man Estonia away.

Can even they phhok this up?

Connacht really brave v a fired-up Quins in the 1st half. I worry for the 2nd half. Quins look lethal. Connacht had a massive amount of tackles to make. I hope they keep more ball in hand this half.
Must improve their discipline.

If you'd offered me the LBP at the start, I'd have taken it, but that was close. Oh well, 15-12, pretty good result for us - if we play like that in he rest of the pool games, we could (just could) take the pool Chief

Nasty injury to Racing inside centre - very similar to the Blues second row 1st half.

You know what this performance just proves that the Amlin Premiership are playing catch-up to the Celtic League. I'm not joking but Munster should take heart from this ahead of their game against Saints tomorrow.
If Quins are the best in the Amlin then we shouldn't fear any of them. Certainly not in Ireland.

woop c'mon Connacht then!

Been half watching some of the Blues match, some nasty injuries, although I've no idea what injury The Jaw has. Hope it's nothing serious.

I have missed this tournament so much I can't believe it. Our plan for tomorrow is to get to Y Parc early so we can watch the Leinster match on the tv in the barn first and then get ourselves in the prime spot for the most important match of the weekend!

I think the poster got him confused with James Downs, Pete. Or he better blydi have! Downs was down for ages and got stretchered off. Jamie as far as I know was sitting up on the subs bench so can't be too bad. Don't think he'd be sat there if he busted up his ankle!

Got 8 tickets for the terrace Dreamer. Unless Hughie brings two mates it looks like we gave one spare. Trying to convince Stag to swap his for terrace as well so we'd be 11 then.

I really hope it is Pete, would be a massive loss for the Blues if Jamie is taht seriously injured.

Laulala is off with an injury too now apparently. It' been a very costly night for Blues so far, but the win for them would be fantastic. about 7 mins left and 6 points in it!

Glas - nice work. If we do end up having one spare, I'm sure we'll find someone else who'll want it!

Come on Connacht if they get a result it would be a great day for Ireland. I'm absolutely beaming right now. Results like that are why I have gone to sh!tholes like Salthill on a wet Tuesday night. To keep up Irish soccer. I'm delighted, some decent football was played at times too.

We, the Rabo 12 teams that, before tonight, felt we were on a loser in Europe, apologise to anyone who felt different.
We have proved that our teams can go to France And England and get results.

So a team who is near the bottom of the Rabo put it up to the Premiership leaders for 70 odd minutes. I think we know which league is better. You have to feel for Connacht. Congrats Quins.
