First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of newly retired Gareth 'Alfie' Thomas.

Also a special picture of Thomas Domingo and wishing him all the best on a speedy recovery.

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Thanks for reminding me lucky... I need to get my tips in.

I really have absolutely no idea about some of the teams - especially the ones from France. Would you say that the Pro12 teams are a little more battle hardened than some of the other HC clubs who haven't played half a dozen games so far this season?

Breaker the French Clubs have played about 10 games so far this season, compared to Pro 12 and Jeff where most teams have played 8 games.
The French clubs will all be hard to beat at home against anyone but they are not the best travelers.

Gotcha Rava - I guess I'll need to follow this thread even more closely. Starting to get a feel for the clubs but it's quite overwhelming... the number of teams and players. Who are the best Irish/Scottish/Welsh/English travellers - traditionally? Any teams who stand out and do well in France/Italy consistently?
