The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing pictures of Doug Howlett above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I know its incredibly disappointing for our legions of Welsh fans but I don't even know if there were cameras at the ground Glas. It's a real shame it wasn't televised really but Aironi playing away on the same night Toulouse are in action is never going to get the punters interested. They are still a wee bit off being of the standard to compete in the HC consistently. Plus Ulster aren't seen as the big draw either (let's be honest)
Still, 9 consecutive home wins in Europe- hopefully make it 10 over Leicester. That would really be great!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Decent win for Ulster - you can't underestimate any team in the HC. These days defences are so much better than 5 years ago. A bonus point win against any team is just that; a bonus.
SA taught everyone about defence in 2007.

That's why I say HC qualification should be tied to league place...
...hang on, it's day 2 of the "tour of 4"
Already had delirious texts from Stag!

Bore da neb / good morning no one. It is beautiful outside. Cold, crisp, sunny and dry. I loves it, I does.
I really enjoyed last night's match, even though it was far from being a classic. When the Blues attacked there was something approaching a roar from the crowd, which surprised me a bit. There was nothing approaching a roar at the Liberty last weekend.
Also, Wayne Barnes is a good lad!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
bore da pawb, just about to rush to the library to see if i can get the blydi song sheets printed off.
Wayne Barnes was brilliant last night, fair play to him. Game was okay, but never really got going, score line flattered the Blues really. Had a lovely evening though, has sat up the weekend brilliantly!
Da iawn to Ulster on their win

So,
Where are all the "meet up" folks today?
Quite a few must have been in Cardiff last night, right?

Morning all - sorry about my rant yesterday.
I am now chilled and wont do it again (and sorry for any typos- I am typing this with my feet as my hands have been restrained to stop me self harming)

Awh Adam,
Sure I meant it about here being a good place to offload.
I suspect this place is part of the reason that the regs don't lose it out there too often.
Glad you are feeling a bit happier.

There were six of us at the Blues - Edinburgh game, Mrs P. It's the Scarlets v Munster today, which should be one hell of a game of rugby!
Hobo, no need to apologise. This is the place to rant!

Morning all, just a quick check in from Asbo's mansion near Exeter. Everyone except Hughie has enjoyed a hearty breakfast (lesson, if a local buys you a pint of "special" cider don't drink it. Especially if you've just nicknamed him "Wookie"

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Oh here we go........if my match was at an earlier/different time I could prove to you i could catch and there'll probably be some valley's boys needles to get in my way!!
I am a bit jealous of this Munster trip but at least i'll have worked up an appetite by the time we get to Exeter!!
Oh and if anyone fancies coming in my car to keep me and stag company feel free....we have disney songs and will stop at a well known fast food chain. PLUS: you'll be saving me from a sore loser/winner chat.

He's wearing a wonderful hat!
We're just about to head off to the waffle shop for some food, before getting the train to Llanelli.

Hope everyone who's travelling down gets here okay, and for everyone have a great weekend and enjoy the rugby.

Anyone watching Wales - Samoa in the 7s?
7-0 to Samoa but Wales on the attack... and Owen B in under the sticks so 7-7 now.
The waffles sound heavenly dreamer. Say g'day to Stag for me.
