The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing pictures of Doug Howlett above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Cheers Penfro and Cari - hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.
I saw that stag's trip hadn't got off to the best of starts, but he's back on track. Here's a for when you get to the Bush.

Thanks, Rava. I'll have to get some money together first. I'm not that well off.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Hi everyone,
Busy day today.
And today marked the end of an era. The first Infant Nativity Play at our primary school for 10 years with no little P on stage. Felt very weird.
Hope Stag got to Cardiff. I lost track of where he travelled through on his way there. Did he really end up in Belfast?

Hey MrsP, how was the Nativity though? My parents said that one year I was Joseph and part way through my Mary ran off crying and I continued with the whole show!! (see i'm being nice)

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Ah I didn't go to see it as I help out with one of the older classes on Thursdays.
Strange walking through the hall though.
When I was in P1 I was the angel in our Nativity Play. For reasons I can't quite explain I was dressed in a tutu and had a wand. In between my scenes I had to wait inside the "inn" with the Innkeeper. The inn was the playhouse form our class room which had a door and 3 walls but no roof.
The Innkeeper was a rascal and kept grabbing my wand and waving it above the "inn" so the audiance could see it. I eventually got very fed up with this behaviour and gave him a firm whack on the head with the aforementioned wand. The audiance didn't actually see the blow land but they saw the "backswing" and heard the Ouch!
Not very angellic behaviour but he really was asking for it!
My teachers must have agreed because I don't remember being told off for it. My poor brother was in the audience and was absolutely mortified.

Mrs P doesn't drink Prop. I'll have that instead.
Right I have a First Aid course to deliver tomorrow so I won't be on here at all. I hope those of you who are travelling tomorrow arrive safely at your destinations. I sincerely hope you all have a smashing weekend. Please drink to absent friends

Because the only picks I'm within 5 points if you on we're backing different teams! Another disastrous weekend for me on SG I think.

Who said you were not a gentleman?
When I joined Round Table I was amazed that they continued with the Loyal Toast. Anyway it was my turn and I said "they told me I'd have to toast the Queen and I said find me a fork big enough and I'll give it a go!"

If the above is true then that's brilliant, we're going to be so close to a sell out!

Thomond - you would not believe the number of different nationalities that visit Dubai, and therefore the potential for germs to enter the country. It is one of those places where I nearly always cop something like this. One year I was out of it for two days over there and missed Finals day.
Admittedly, it doesn't help that the immune system is weakened by a deluge of beer.
Wow, unexpected wins for Sale 29-14 at Agen plus a bp ( sorry ), and Falcons 6-3 over Toulon in the Amlin.

Sorry to mess you about, but my plans have changed. Mrs G needs the car (I sold hers last month) so I can't take you to meet Prop
Can you confirm when you've read this? Thanks.

Don’t be a stranger to the pub lads, nothing funnier than when someone drops in, steaming drunk and says something random.
And remember the last time you saw me, I wasn’t a perverted weirdo then was I (could be setting myself up for a fall here!)? well keep that in mind when Stag and Gibbo decide to roll out the mars bar story.
