The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Chris Paterson, Steve Thompson and Jonny Wilkinson above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Nah lucky I'm with staggy's metaphor. Plus if you think about it you can have a wicked couple of hours with the beautiful girl and then make a dash for the exit by the end.

Yea see Lucky its because you think she's great. Beautiful girl at first glance looks great. Six Nations in theory sounds great. But when you acutally try engage it properly you realise whats lacking.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
But that something's not always lacking. In the last few years we might not have seen brilliant rugby, but that's not to say we won't this time around.

To put it in gentleman's terms if you've been out for a night and you're looking for a young lady and you pull one, some weeks they're good looking and some weeks they're not the best. Last years 6 Nations would have been not the best looking bird but at least we got her in the taxi. She wasn't the best looking lady we ended up taking home but she was very pleasant and very nice, so thanks very much, let's have a coffee

Bore da/good morning all.
Really tired today, didn't get to sleep till 2 and was up at 7. Gone and gotten myself addicted to watching Grey's Anatomy again. I always seem to make the mistake of pressing play all instead of select episode whenever I put a new disc in

Alright Hughbert. How goes it?
Without actually getting into the discussion in here (plenty of threads for it) do you think these new IRFU measures are good or bad? I think they’re Shiite myself.

Absolute pile of hoop mick, it makes no sence. Who gets choice of who, when do they get this choice?? It's a load a ballix and I expect a u-turn over the next few weeks. Back to the 4+1 from next year and leave it at that and we Irish will continue to gather Heineken Cups.
Thanks for coming

How are the Irish going to stop the problem of havint too many NIQ in certain positons though (like in the front row) if they don't do something similar to what they've proposed?
Lucky - ah I wasn't sure if you were or not I don't usually like them, this is the only one I really watch. Just love it, the soundtrack is amazing and curse it, it really is addictive. Some great characters in it too.

oh and looks like Ben Morgan has chosen England: http://www.scarlets.co.uk/eng/news/4544.php
Guess this'll mean he'll leave the Scarlets when his contract is up

No. The mistake is that you are looking at the 6 N as a sexual object rather than respecting her whatever her sex, age or sexuality. Platonic relationships can be more fun and last longer. Learn to flirt without pulling your man sausage out at the first opportunity.

Ive decided to trust the IRFUs judgement. Im still 99% sure its illegal but Im gonna wait and see what happens.
I applaud Ben Morgan to be honest. Still has a desire to play for his home. Thats good loyalty.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Aye it is Stag, Wales may have given him the chance to make it as a pro rugby player but he's still a guy who would have grown up dreaming to play for England, can't fault him for the decision at all.
Lucky - I think it is, not really sure, I don't really pay any attention to who makes the actual shows!

Ben Morgan's made the right decision, I'd say. It's one thing saying you feel proud of playing for a country other than your own when you don't have a hope of playing for your own country, but when you do have a chance of playing for your own country, you'd have to take it.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Exactly Lucky.
I know if I were ever very good at sport (a highly, highly unlikely situation I know), and I got good at the sport in say Ireland or England, if I had the choice to play for them or Wales, wouldn't even be a choice for me, twould be Wales everytime.
And why is 1pm so far away? I've made a lush batch of cauliflower and vintage cheddar soup (I don't actually know what vintage cheddar is, I just used to the normal kind!), and I really want to eat it right now. Starvo

Because England want players playing in England, don't they, Glas?
Lancastar might not for now, but I'd wager whoever the new long term coach is would have a similar wish to Johnno.

The main issue for me is the symbiotic relationship between club success and national success - for me this decision risks the former (ie if sufficient Irish quality just happens not to be available in a particular position) which will ultilmately affect the latter - why risk it?red_stag wrote:Ive decided to trust the IRFUs judgement. You just need to be patient - buy the normal kind, shove it in a cupboard for 2-3 years, and then hey presto, it's vintage! (Similar to Gib)rugbydreamer wrote:Exactly Lucky.
