The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Chris Paterson, Steve Thompson and Jonny Wilkinson above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
finally, after four months of nagging the stupid agency, we have a new tap fitted in the bathroom! It will no longer be pot luck wether we a) get hot or cold water, or b) have the ability to actually turn it off anymore

Lucky I have no doubt of that either. It's leaving France with even a point I have reservations about.

I think the weather's meant to be okay, but it might be worth checking on the Friday morning! I'm tempted to pay the £5 upgrade and get a seat in the Bisley stand on the opposite side of the pitch, just to see how the other half live.

Y Ci, welcome aboard. Underneath the last comment on a thread, on right of the screen, there is a link that says Stop Watching this topic for replies. This will help you.
You should check your settings to see if it automatically follows the threads you comment on.
As for this place, this is a place to chit chat or just talk about brief rugby topics that dont really merit a full or logical article.

That's OK then logic is not my strong point.
I've worked out how to switch it off on each thread, but not so it doesn't come on in the first place.

Done it now, I think.
red_stag, I'm a Welsh rugby fan. I support Wales and whichever Welsh team is playing, although I'm not as keen on the Blues. I'll also go and see rugby in the park if I can on a Saturday, any of my local sides.

Wouldn't you be a Scarlets fan if your from Carmathen? Thats out that direction no?
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Carmarthenshire! The best of the counties of Wales (fact, end of and all that, before Penfro can argue otherwise! )
Why are you not an out and out Scarlets fan then? (not that you have to be, obviously )

I was never an out and out Llanelli fan before. I used to go and see Llanelli, Neath or Swansea, whoever was at home.

Thats fair enough and its nice to see someone willing to support all the regions rather than supporting none. Good on you.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
ah I get you, I was an out and out Llanelli fan first (the only big side near me) so was easy to swith over to the Scarlets (or just continue supporting the same, however you want to look at it )
righty, logging off, thank goodness work is pretty much over!

OK, is someome going to let me out of this phhokin cupboard or wot?
Ah yer grand. Ive since redecorated and somehow...I dunno... it feels like home now.
Hi Y Ci. (Bet that will be shrortened to YC). Or ICY.
Good to meet you. More bleedin Welsh. Could be worse - could be more feicin Irish.
As for the 6-N. She is a beautiful, mature, experienced lady, who gets jiggy with it in Spring. A time when a youngs mans fancy turns to bouncing-jubblies. She knows this and lures us in. And,no matter how hard we try to deny it - we cant take our eyes off them.
Its rugby nature.

Hi all,
In case anyone's interested Matthew Rees and Rhodri Jones have been cleared in their citing hearing. I still don't understand why it was only the Fail that's reported it(!)

Evening Gibbo, hows tricks with you? all good I hope
No tales as such, just been trying to organise/decide what to do for the weekend.
Was going to venture to the Blues v Leinster match on Sat (will be my only chance to see Leinster play live this season I think, but a lot of the people I asked to go either haven't replied or can't make it ), but have also just been offered a lift down to Scarlets v Glasgow by my cousin (ko is the same time annoyingly!) so tis off to Y Parc I go this weekend to use my season ticket to redeem my free voucher tickets (it was a Christmas present from the Scarlets!) for my cousin and some friends. (Plus, I get to see Glasgow live for what I think might actually be the first time!)

Didn't I see somewhere Dreamer that you need to redeem them by Thursday? I might see you down there, I'm going down with my friend 'Rainbow'. Good news about Smiler as well.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
ah awesome, would be great to see you, just hope my cousin doesn't bail on the lift now, I won't enjoy getting the train back otherwise!
and yeah I either redeem them online by 5pm tomorrow, or go up with my vouchers on the day (but the Scarlets would prefer the online option).
And tis excellent news about Smiler and Rhodri, twas ridiculous it went that far really.

Ah sure go Dreamer. The big boys are coming back. I assume it will be the same for Blues. Always a guddun. I was at the last one at CCS with Cari, Munsty, De Rev and the Penfros. Oh how we laffed.
Love to go witcha.
Good move on the PYS pal. Love the way you support yer team.
Here's to a huge year for our Scarlets.
Edit: Even Dreamer couldn't make 2 x games at the same time. Even if ya did make 4 ERC games in a weekend with Stag.
Unbelievable Jeff.
