Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

This is the first Pub of 606v2's second year, here's hoping for another good one.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Augustin Pichot, David Campese, Mal O'Kelly and Jim Williams above the bar!

Thanks Gibbo - something to be said for the booze ban on Good Friday if you can pick me up at the airport that late on a Friday night! This pub is just so great (sniff). Himself organised to take me to Prestwick - sadly, no chance he could make the gig on a bank hol w/e. Bloody hotel

That's a nightmare game for you. After the 50 pointer in the Rabo, you are expected to win comfortably. Do that and people will say "it went to form". Fail to win convincingly and they'll say "startling loss of form". For Gibbos sake I hope you don't lose.

Glas, I agree. But that’s all external, as long as the team don’t go in expecting to win and not work for it then we should be ok. If we do win I think we’ll be underdogs in the semi anyway, so that might help.

Fair play to you man, if it’s in London I’m there. Without a shadow of a doubt, in fact if it’s in Lyon (rumours are that if ASM win it’s going there) then I might well have to make that trip too.

At home Leinster have been superb Luckless, however on the road its been hard grafted results, not particularly nice to look at and lucky to get the results in some. Having to travel away for the semi worries me terribly on what we've seen so far this year. At home we won with 2 BPs and we nearly got another against Montpellier, but away we had a draw a 2 wins by less than a score.
Last year we had a really tough route to the final (albeit at home mostly) but this year the we haven’t had a big test yet. This is not gratuitous modesty in the hope of getting compliments, I’m genuinely just a bit concerned.

Actually, it’s probably been good for Leinster that all the focus lately is on Munster and Ulster.
