First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Rhys Thomas, Ben Castle, Andy Fenby and Bill McLaren above the bar!

Glas, I don't know when the Ireland team's announced. Nor do I know when England's team is announced. I hope both are announced today.

Morning all!! Can't wait for the announcements to kick in!! Is this the point where the Welsh stop talking to the Irish because I'll take on Gibbo and Rava single-handedly!!

Lucky - Not really no, he's been head and shoulder above any of the others in Wales. Owens and Bennett have been good but not great, certainly not in their throwing in at the lineout. Am hoping whatever mind control was used on Bennett to get him to perform so well in the WC is utilised once more.

If I were Irish, the only change I'd have made to that Irish side would be to have Ryan starting over DOC, otherwise, I'd be very happy with it.

Damn!

Lucky - I like your thinking! Sure, if Ireland lose with that side picked then they are in some serious doodoo, no? Wink

All being serious though, I may just have to pretend to be Irish by the time the full time whistle goes on Sunday Whistle

You have the name so will blend in seamlessly.

You probably do the same at Twickers and tell everyone your name is Miss Joan C.

He had to shred his knighthood apparently, which is a bonus.

I did try last night but it got lost in the ether.

I almost fell through the floor now as I thought I heard a call to prayer in Ammanford. Actually it was a rag and bone man shouting "rag and bone, any old iron" into a loudhailer on his van...
