The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of
ST DAVID, THE Prince of Wales and WALE'S CAPTAIN
Happy St David's day

STOP PRESS! BREAKING NEWS!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-17220250
The trio browsed luxurious delights before they were each presented with a Fortnum's hamper, containing delicacies including champagne truffles - and dog biscuits.
The Queen spoke to some of the store's workers including Joan Goff, 86, who as a teenager worked at the store during World War II.
She said she had seen the Queen, then Princess Elizabeth, during that time.
"She didn't come very often but I did see her in the shop once or twice," said Mrs Goff.
"Today I told her that I had been here when I was 14 and she said, 'how marvellous'."

Nice work Hughie
Lucky/Glas, I've got posted SXV and Jeff previews for this weekend in the writers' section, do either of you fancy doing a quick Rabocop writeup?

Dunno if you were up before 6, and heard Radio 4 Glas. There was a piece about Welsh lamb and its 'protected' status in the EU. The astounding fact was 95% of Welsh lamb is eaten outside of Wales. I can't believe you (ewe) guys let so much of it escape your dinner plates!
Heading back to town now, and just passed Asboland, casting a wistful eye in the direction of the CVI.

I don't know about a 'quick' write-up about the Rabo, Kiwi - I'll be honest and say that I don't pay all that much attention to the other teams in the league. If the Dragons were pushing for a play-off spot, I might be paying closer attention!

Something similar to the Super XV preview I put up in the review section (and Yappysnap's Jeff preview https://www.606v2.com/t24950-ap-round-17-preview) - a points table, and a paragraph on each match this weekend, with a winner prediction at the end

Yep, born and raised in the region - lived in Marlborough until I was 18, then Christchurch until I was 30.

Okay,
Soooo,
Matt Sexton?
Any thoughts?
I'm sure you have heard his name bandied about as joining us in some capacity next season.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
PS, I'm just dashing off to netball, but Sexton was a very handy player with the Crusaders, often pushing Hammett (who was capped by the AB's) for a Crusaders starting berth. I don't know lots about his coaching, but he'd have to be better than Hammett

Well he played for us too but I was wondering what the fans thought of how he'd got on with your academy.
It is your academy he's been coaching for a while, isn't it?

Swigging Brains St, David's Ale in my local. Brewed for JDW pubs apparently, though Brains must be selling it in their pubs.

Evening pub
Just been to the petrol station and managed to put 33.4 litres into a 30 litre tank Even allowing for the fuel reserve that's seriously running on fumes! Naughty
Had a quick read back,
Kia, congrats on your fantastic news! Knitting's a breeze... so my mum tells me, afraid I can't speak from personal experience.
Rev, great to see you back safe and sound
Hughie, well done you!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Mrsp - EdOD may well be another one crocked. He's a penalty liability when he does play.
Oz, the team we're able to put out at the moment is way short of AP quality. Wentzel is a huge loss. Elliot Daly may be fit for Saturday though.

Making the tough decision in a chipper is difficult enough, and in one of the best places in Cork it's even tougher, this guy helps you sort it out.
