The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of
ST DAVID, THE Prince of Wales and WALE'S CAPTAIN
Happy St David's day

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
but he's not Welsh so no problem, frees up a space for Murphy to get more game time at 8 for the Scarlets now plus we'll get £££ for him. Sad to see him go, but twas inevitable if not now, then next season for sure he'd have been off.

Yes, but in his case the term is apt as he is going home (if not quite to the "promised land")

Exactly. However from what I've seen Gloucester play a decent brand of running rugby nowadays and get stuffed by Leicester, so he should feel right at home.

Strange call ups as replacements for them as well, surely Tuohy and Marshall would be better options if taken on current form!

Also really hope they are right about the extent of Murray's injury.
Wouldn't be at all surprised if they find more later.
Hope I'm wrong though.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Evening.
Some of you probably saw my mention in the Dragons programme from Saturday's 'Skipper's Shout'. Was only by chance that I saw it, but it sure made my day today. Wish I had seen it on Saturday though, as it would've made me feel better about the result.
"and finally, welcome back (my name) who has just returned back from his second tour of duty in Afghanistan. From all your friends here at the Dragons and at home town Risca, it's great to see you back
Enjoy the match
Luke Charteris"
A nice touch by one of my friends to sort that and for the Dragons to put it in the programme.

Wow Rev,
That was such a nice thing to do!
And, do you know the cameraman at Rodney Parade or are you just devastatingly attractive? Silly question I know.

That much is normally true. but Saturday I stayed on my own by the 22. The camera was panned on only me pretty much (well it had to get the nose in). It showed my wife too, but she was happy.
I was thinking earlier how much I changed my normal routine from going to the Dodger pub pre-match and not the Clubhouse and from where I stood. Was doomed to watch a defeat from that

Nah, she's been to a few this year (that we've won most, if not all) including USAP at home. Her first game she went to, was when Martyn Thomas broke his leg first time, so I did think she was a jinx then

Evening all.
Nice one on the mention in the programme Rev .
I did think Conor Murray's injury looked bad, but I didn't realise O'Connell was crocked. Who will be captain against Scotland? D'Arcy based on experience? Are there any other potential leaders? Ferris? Bowe? Kearney?
