Manning, do you even read about prospects that arent from LSU? It makes me wonder if you even watch LSu and dont look up stats and say he sis best player i have watched in college.

Yes, I do. But I've been busy the last few days with work and the NHL playoffs. Looking up college prospects isn't top of my agenda, I just had a glance online today because I saw my pick might come up, obviously I didn't read the date on the post.
But I admit I must look silly drafting a player who already plays, I suddenly remembered seeing him play against the Packers as soon as bambamwillis commented.

I was considering taking him for the 49ers but don't really know much other than he is a running QB so don't think that fits our system, hopefully Ponder falls to us in the real draft or we trade up for him.

Re: 606v2 Mock Draft
Do you mean dropping so low, or think he's gone to high? Top of the list was Ponder but Graeme Swann's Cat took him for the Vikings, and Bambamwillis said he would have taken him for the 49ers.AdZacO wrote:It is odd that Kaepernick goes this far, i will bet he wont in the rel draft.

Ok you were busy, buy i dont think you have looked at all. You said most drafts you looked at had Paea going 11th overall. I have yet to see one. It doesnt make you a bad fan for not looking, was mearly saying dont think you have had time at all to know, watch or read about any of the prospects

Re: 606v2 Mock Draft
In fairness to Manning to Manningham, in one of Walterfootball's early drafts, he had Stephen Paea going at 11

Re: 606v2 Mock Draft
It may be that nobody wants him.... but Adrian Clayborn is still on the board! He is normally a late first rounder in most mocks (though he has been slipping a bit)

Re: 606v2 Mock Draft
i used the nfl.com grading sytem and theyve droppen him to 2.0 (which is really really low) on their board, sometihng must have happened to him

Re: 606v2 Mock Draft
Haha, 2.0 is incredibly low as the guys i'm looking at for #32 are around 6.0-6.5
That said I just watched a mock on NFL.com where they were putting him to the Bucs at 20 which seemed to be his old spot

Thought he would have gone to the Buccs in the 2nd round, he is probably the BPA? Or would you say someone else is

Re: 606v2 Mock Draft
He is probably, and if he dropped that low they'd take him over Allen Bailey, but I understand what LeedsCowboys did, he did the same as I would have done and took the highest available on Pr4wn's list. Although NFL have him listed as a 2.0 currently it does still say on his profile he'll be a later first round pick.

Re: 606v2 Mock Draft
Ok, its slowed right down the Giants have had 23 hours, so I will take the best fit for them, looking at DraftTek they need a new Centre, who have them taking Brandon Fusco, however, the best Centre is still on the board, so with the 52nd pick the Giants select Centre Stefan Wisniewski Penn State

Re: 606v2 Mock Draft
Thought you would have taken Clayborn but understandable that they followed the order given just in case you really hated him.
Whats more surprising is how many could have conceivably taken him and haven't. Bengals, Browns, Vikings, Rams, Raiders and Lions could all have taken him as an upgrade and no one would have batted an eyelid. I like Clayborn as a player so strange to see him drop so far.

Welcome back hope your holiday was good. You can blame LeedsCowboys for not taking Clayborn don't blame you for thinking he would have been gone, I'd be surprised if he managed to drop this far in the actual draft.Pr4wn wrote:I'm back!
