The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Mexico City Rugby Cantina
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has teleported to Mexico City for the first qualifying match for RWC 2015. There's also TVs showing Aviva Premiership, Rabobank Pro 12 and Super XV action.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of the Grand Slam Winners or Dan Carter who returns to rugby this weekend.

Bore da pawb / good morning all, another fine morning here on the docks!
I've never liked HP Sauce. My dad, on the other hand, will have it with almost anything.

One of my dad's favourite dishes - his signature dish, you could say - is salmon with oven chips and a big pile of sprouts, all covered in HP Sauce. You can tell when he's had it for tea because the house will reek of it.

I like my tobasco sauce, that's the business. try it on some bacon, it really does elivate it to a new level.
Chilli and biltong, now that is very tasty too, alternative get some jalapeno's, cut them in little pieces and make a biltong sarmie.

Aaww man, i love sprouts. Boiled lightly, fried in a pan with garlic butter, onions and bacon pieces. Served with a great helping of HP. Makes me fart alot but well worth it

Worcester sauce is great to add to a bolognese and peri-peri sauce is delicious. And for chilies, jalapenos and sweet roquito are amazing.

A little hint for long haul flying as well. Warcester sause is great in a tomatoe juice with some salt and pepper. Perfect for staving off headaches

I heard that you use more calories eating a stick of celery than you get from it. What useless food.

In that case I would not classify it as food, but rather exercise.

So if you want a horse to lose weight, you dangle a stick of celery in front of it.

goooood morning/bore da pawb.
Stunning day yet again today, and am meeting up with a friend for dinner later, so should be a good day, that is if the invoices don't finish me off first
Hope everyone's well? and I'll have a bacon sarnie please if there's still some on the go...

ah rubbish, I don't like HP all that much either.
(should clarify I don't like the sauce, I do of course love HP)
Just checked and the Scarlets match isn't on TV this Friday. Instead both BBC2 Wales and BBC Alba are showing the Glasgow v Blues match. Why on earth are two Beeb channels showing the same match?! crazy.

Morning all, today's my Friday and it's meant to be pretty warm back in the Forest so I'm going to get my hat on in preparation!!
Not sure about Thomas' move, haven't really seen him that much but if he pushes Morgan and May further then I'll be happy. End of the road for Voyce and Phillips at Glaws too.

Martyn Thomas is a good footballer, Prop - not the most reliable full back there's ever been, but he'll be a great attacking weapon for you.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Mexico City Rugby Cantina
Morning everyone!
Question: Is Munster Academy (in Shannon?) the same as Munster A?
Bloke at work was there apparently a year or two ago. A huge guy... 6'7" but he seems like a gentle giant. Hands like dinner plates (if they had fingers, etc) He went to London for a short stint of work and they used to fly him back over for the weekend to play matches for the Academy.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Mexico City Rugby Cantina
Linebreaker,
There is Shannon RFC - this is a club team in Munster that has been traditionally very successful.
Munster Academy is the youngsters. There are 3 kinds of contracts in Munster. Academy Contracts for the real youngsters. You then get promoted onto a Development Contract when you first start playing with First Team a bit and finally Senior Contracts when you are a first squad player.
Munster 'A' is simply the Munster reserve team. It is mainly made up of Academy and Development Contract players.
Neither Munster Academy nor Munster 'A' play in Shannon.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Mexico City Rugby Cantina
Thanks Stag.
This guy was being scouted at the Academy (will need to check) but a family tragedy forced him to go home - to Cork, or further south I think.
He came over here a few weeks ago and is now extremely busy with work... managing two massive demolition sites. Very cool, calm and collected bloke.

He probably played for Shannon RFC and was in the Munster Academy at the same time. That would be my guess on things.
