First topic message reminder :
Talofa*, afio mai** to the Leileifiafiafale*** - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Samoa because Biltongbek fancied cocktails on the beach.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of the recently retired Lloyd Burns and Peter Short; Richardt Strauss and Stephen Jones or the posters for "Stamp Out Racism" featuring Pat Lam and "Justice 4 John Afoa".

Funny thing is that, years later when Hinmself and i were looking to buy a wee pub/hotel, we had a meeting with Big Gordon in his guise as a mortgage broker. Sweetie, sweetie.

Rodders, check out the seat map of Twickers, to see where we are. Mick the Chef got em the day after the last Final. Top Chef.
Behind the Press Box. Good enough for me. I'll be able to see the whole Leinster Rugby Porn Show perfectly. Grand.
Its a great stadium. We were in it when it was half full... some place. So should be amazing when full...
As Chef said, he got 4 tickets for us Aul fellas and as it worked out...
Rava - Ulster
Chef - ASM
As - Edinburgh
Gibbo - Leinster

Hope he's wrong about an Edinburgh v ASM Final though... Could easily happen.
f you're in that stand take a baseball cap or a good pair of sunnies.
Ah sure, the Leinster crowd always have a spare pair of sunnies on top of their heads.

P.S. I have ROG & POG ones. Havent had a shaag in years...
I miss my Cookie Monster ones. Used get laid for fun in those. But they, like moi - fell apart with too much use.
Ah well. Twas a great run.

Morning all - potential spanner in the works of the HC final here. Herself has been looking forward to her mam and her stepdad coming up to stay for the weekend while she and her mam go out to some musical and I take the step dad out for pints. Happy days, i get on great with them both and would happily spend a weekend in their company, no worries. 'cept the musical is on the 19th of May... HC final day.
If i told her once i must have told her 100 times the date of the final but now i'm a bollix because I'm planning to be out of the country and what's her stepdad going to do...? I'm still going though, i'm just going to have to sleep in the spare room for a few weeks...

Mick, that girl needs a serious talking to First the Quarter Final, now the Final. I think she's trying to tell you something
As for sleeping in the spare room! That's what spare room were invented for. The secret is not to have guests over when you might be needing it yourself

Tana Umaga is in Limerick today intervirwing for Munster head coach job. He is also understood to be willing to work as a backs coach alongside either Anthony Foley or Rob Penney.

I hope you're right Rava! This season is bleeding me dry man! If Ulster make the Rabo play offs too I'll go bankrupt!
Umaga eh Stag? Give the feicer a spear tackle for me .... he'd be a great fit for Munster actually, is he still playing? Any chance of him lacing his boots for Munster?

Morning Dreamer. Can I have one up of Brian McLaughlin on the occasion of his last home game a coach. A proper gentleman if ever there was one. He has handled himself so well these past few months.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Beach Leileifiafiafale, Samoa
Couple of random Pro12 Stats here:
Aironi have conceeded the most penalty tries (6), Munster an Ulster have scored the most (4).
In round 2 the Irish teams won all of their games, in rounds 3 and 19 the Scottish won all of theirs and in week 4 the Italians won both of theirs. The Welsh teams have not all won in the same gameround to date.
The Dragons are the only team to secure a 4 try BP and an LBP in the same game.

I don't want him as head coach. I'd love him as backs coach.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Beach Leileifiafiafale, Samoa
I'd say that could be a shrewd move stag. Do you think Foley has the experience for the top job though?
I wonder though is there any bad blood between Umaga and the Irish guys like O'Connell and ROG who were on the 2005 Lions tour? I'd imagine Umaga is still not the most popular chap in Ireland and if he gets the job it could ruffle a few feathers.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Beach Leileifiafiafale, Samoa
Rodders, it would certainly spice up the Munster v Leinster games. Maybe thats it - Munster want to be despised by all again, get a nice chip on our shoulder and go back to winning games. Brilliant plan.
In all honesty I don't think that Foley is fully ready for the head coach role but if it was with Umaga as backs coach I'd be happy. I would also like to see us retain BJ Botha as a scrum coach if he decides to retire (he'll be 33/34 next year) when he is gone.

Morning all
Our 1st match in A-grade last night, got creamed 29-18
It's almost time for a new pub, can we have a quick round of venue and picture nominations (I can't remember if we decided on anything already)

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Beach Leileifiafiafale, Samoa
Apparently O'Gara and O'Connell have been asked for input into the head coach role too. O'Gara says the Munster C.E.O. asked him what he felt about the candidates. A good idea or not his business?
Kiwi, what about Belfast to celebrate that ship made by shoddy Ulster tradesmen and a shoddy Ulster team over coming the odds to make the ERC semis. They've had their final yets celebrate it #nosourgrapes

McLaughlin is an excellent shout. I'm going to also say Mick O'Driscoll who is retiring after being a great squad player for Munster and had some good (and bad) cameos for Ireland.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Beach Leileifiafiafale, Samoa
dreamer - a shout for John Hart. A loyal club servant and yet another Wasp who has had to retire early due to injury.
Thanks.
