JOC needs time on the international level at 12. he can't have played much more than Fofana there in tests has he.

I prefer JD and JDJ as 13's but can both play 12. I'm a big fan of Hook at 12.

I think Hook needs to play 10 or 13 outside someone like Roberts.

I'd throw Barnes, Steyn, JOC and JD into the mix also

JD is a 13

Jdj played a lot more rugby at 12 than 13 this is his first proper season there. Seen him play 15 brilliantly before

Joc massively shaky defensively at 12 as he is learning the ropes.
Missed a lot of one on one tackles this year there when he has played.

He will pick it up but it's a result of not playing a settled position. Defending on Wing much easier

JD a 12 for me, does a job obviously at 13.

JOC could play anywhere in backline and shine.

Good rugby players can play anywhere.

Phillips at 12 for Lions
McCaw at 8
John Davies at 13
George Smith at 12
Giteau at 9

Bergamasco at 9????

Joc is a superstar and will learn the ropes at 12 you just have to have a bit of short term pain with his defending for a long term gain.

Think 12 or 13 will be his position long term

JOC is screwed at 12 in that Rebels teams, awful platform and playing outside Cipriani!! Basically have to do 10/12 defence.

Most missed tackles in S15 make interesting reading:

1. Willem Alberts (Sharks) 26
2. Beauden Barrett (Hurricanes) 25
3. Nick Phipps (Rebels) 24
3. Rob Horne (Waratahs) 24
5. Peter Grant (Stormers) 23
6. JP Pietersen (Sharks) 21
7. Charl Mcleod (Sharks) 20
7. Willie Le Roux (Cheetahs) 20
9. Chris Lowrey (Blues) 19
9. James O'Connor (Rebels) 19
9. Keegan Daniel (Sharks) 19
12. Brett Sheehan (Force) 18
12. Conrad Smith (Hurricanes) 18
12. Daniel Halangahu (Waratahs) 18
12. Marcell Coetzee (Sharks) 18
12. Pierre Spies (Bulls) 18
12. Tim Whitehead (Sharks) 18
18. Andrew Ellis (Crusaders) 16
18. Benson Stanley (Blues) 16
18. Wynand Olivier (Bulls) 16

More up to date stats on this one pooly

Missed tackle stats often misleading as you need to take Into account number of games played ( think Joc has not played that much) context of tackle ie 1 on 1 or kick chase as the difference is massive

That said Barrett who tops the list is garbage in defence.

Alberts and Conrad smith had fantastic super 15 tournaments as has willie le roux etcI

Think one on one tackles missed would be a much better stat. If you read these stats you would think Horne and Conrad smith are poor defenders when they are top drawer

Make more than 6 easily this year.

All these stats are garbage. Top turnovers is will genia???

Think we've just seen Jackson's big game temprement...awful kick.

Leinster too strong at the minute, set piece going well and too much behind that. SOB on front foot is cutting them up.

How do people not read the Sexton wrap around????? It's always coming!!

SOB was fantastic, thought that was Ferris's worst game in long time Matt to be honest. He was knocked back constantly with zero support from rest of back row.

Can't think of an Ulster player that outplayed opposite number top of my head, awesome performance.

Afoa was so good. His pitch coverage was great. Ferris again everywhere but leinsters defence so good.

Leinster had the class they would have won off 10% ball.

Leinster have such a good squad and all contribute.

Bod magnificent- he had a knee op 8 days ago ????

Might look different when i watch it on tv mate but afoa and ferris must be dead after that.

Sexton is like carter in the way he releases players. Just a great clinical side.

Can't emphasise how good afoa was work rate wise. I would dope test him !!!

Thois is my assesment of the game (although I have been in a cocktail bar all evening)

SOB was magnificent. I am his biggest critic, but the guy was the dog's b o llocks today.

Wannenburg had a mare, Henry not as good as I thought he'd be.

Afoa lacking match fitness. Struggled in the scrum but was great in the loose. I would never have thought Healy would have done a number on him.

Tuohy had a big game as did Paddy Wallace. BOD was mercurial on 1 leg. Kearney a rock and best player in europe this season. Mcfadden also strong.

As for Chelsea v Bayern Munich I only have one thing to say................................... In Istanbul, we won it 5 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
