The Dew Drop Inn Virtual HEC Final Rugby Pub, Twickenham
First topic message reminder :
Chin chin and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has arrived in London this week for the Heineken Cup final so has stocked up on cucumber sandwiches ( - KRD ) and Pimms.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Ruan Pienaar, Stephen Ferris, Jonathon Sexton, Rob Kearney and Jonny Wilkinson (the five nominees for the ERC Player of the Year award), Nigel Owens the HEC final referee or Adam Powell (captain of Llanelli RFC who are playing Ponty in the Welsh club final on Friday). The CCTV snaps of Prop_Lyd and the other Cardiff Saracens players on tour in Croatia are fair game though.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual HEC Final Rugby Pub, Twickenham
I once went boating on the Shannon for five days about 5/6 years ago. Took her out from Portuma and cruised the river, fantastic trip would absolutely love to do it again. It was the first time I'd ever swam in fresh water, everything else had been the sea or a swimmingpool. I remember the taste of the water being so remarkably different, and considering I was drunk a lot of the time I was there I did end up swolling a fair bit of it and getting it up my nose.
I swear to God though my sneezes have never been the same, every tome o sneeze I can still taste the Shannon

Advantage Ulster. Much more grounded unlike those Leinster primos.

Good evening. I posted this on the FB page, but I know not everyone uses that so...
"To those of you travelling to London this weekend. I wish you all a safe, hassle-free journey and I hope you all have a cracking weekend. To those Ulster/Leinster supporters watching from home...may your team do you, and the tournament proud. I hope the Heino Final weekend is as good, if not better than last year (only just though )"

I did, Pete, what you could call a world class signing!
Hope he's mainly sed to bring on young Dan Mugford rather than effectively be a hindrance to the young Cornishman's progress

I did thank you As. I was indeed down in Pembs. Managed to avoid any downpours which makes it even nicer down there. Hopefully it'll stay dry in London for the weekend for you guys too.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual HEC Final Rugby Pub, Twickenham
Just watching the Welsh Grand Slam DVD. Seems pretty decent. Lots of interviews already and a bit of an insight into Poland. Love watching Rugby DVDs showing training. Makes me want to do a bit again. The only training I'm doing tonight is for Saturday (not a bad thing either).
Was going to watch the Amlin tomorrow but going to watch Wigan instead in the RL. Top two clash, so it grabs my interest more.
Nice post on FB Cari and a funny reply by Lucky. We will raise a glass for you all who can't attend I'm sure.
Have a great tour prop.

Sorry Cari, the phone was on charge.
£6 just gets you in. The glug is extra. Most festivals these days have free non-alcoholic drinks for people driving others to and from the fest. If I remember right, there are a fair few craft stalls around the place.
Puma - I was only joshing. I've been toning down a bit as work is blwdi demanding at the moment.
I'm off for zzzs. Nos da folks.

Did Penfro decide where he was going to watch the Amlin? I can pop out to whereever if he still needs a drinking buddy tonight.

Just read Asbo's post. Wondering how much of the weekend's work I can do on the iBone whilst babysitting and feeding up at home Saturday night if I do a whistle stop to HQ in the car. No. Tis impossible *grumble-mumble* One of my staff will be there to represent me I suppose.

I think the plan is I'm meeting Hoog over there and we are going to a pub in Twickeham after meeting up with ASBO, GIBBO, MICK, RAVA and Ozzy (Have to meet up with ASBO as I'm crashing at his gaff !!) Text me or PM me with your mobile number - my phone went into meltdown and I'm slowly getting all my numbers back

A good win for us at netball last night - we won 24-6. Considering 3 weeks ago in a grading game they beat us 21-12 ...

Guessing that Leinster will look like this in the backs;
11 Dave Kearney
12 Gordon D'Arcy
13 Brian O'Driscoll
14 Fergus McFadden
15 Isa Nacewa
Shame for Robnoxious if he really is out.
