I'm going to have to pass the buck for this week's Foreign Offers, as my laptop is drying in the airing cupboard with hope it might still live on.
Apologies.

Hmm, tempted by £10.5M for Arteta.
Anyone fancy beating it as I'll probably sell for £12m

Re: Realistic Premier League II
Am I the only person of the opinion that this league needs a more regular influx of cash?
I think the lack of Transfers this past week was due to a lack of cash, perhaps just a reward for nominating predictions (£3M?)
Agreed

Whoever was after Clyne and I rejected it, I apologise. Apparently he's signing for Southampton in the next 2 days. Thought he was going to a big club. Obviously not.

Re: Realistic Premier League II
Hello guys, apologies for my absence. I am back now though.
Big thanks to Olly for doing results (even if he fixed our game ) and Fernando for sorting out foreign offers. I am around to sort out everything that needs doing now.
A note on the cash injections, I don't want cash going into the league too fast. Every 4 games there is a 5m injection, and also the foreign offers will keep a steady flow of cash coming into the league.

Not my fault Liverpool have a bad manager and Norwich have the next Sir Alex at the helm

Re: Realistic Premier League II
I'm joking Olly mate, you set up well and were good value for a point.
Question though, do people not rate Suarez as a lone striker? Did it many times for Liverpool last season.

Re: Realistic Premier League II
Could say the same about Bent really...
as it stands, I've yet to score a goal & to conside a goal with both of my games beging goalless & called boring from the "pundits"
What's wrong with my tactics?

I don't think there has been much wrong with your tactics. It's just your two games have been close ones to call, hence why people chose a draw.

Re: Realistic Premier League II
Enigma I think with yours this week it was that you only had one midfielder assisting in attacks (Aqua) and during your periods of pressure Cherry was playing a defensive 4-5-1 so nullifying anything you threw at him. If you'd had mentioned that your fullbacks would come forward to double up etc then it might have been different.

Afternoon all
Just wondering Would it be worth me making a move for Klose in the foreign transfers, in your opinion?

Thanks for the heads up Hero
Need to draw up a shortlist of target men to buy. Anybody got any ideas to throw in as I'll most likely have to dip into forigns

Klose is still a good goalscorer and I rate him
Enigma, Andy Carroll, if there's a strong cash offer.

Looking for a right back and a striker, willing to use cash and/or several players
Looking for an out and out finisher, like Cisse/Jelavic etc.

Very unreliable rumours that Damiao might be going to AC Milan. Are they a sinking ship or do they have a backup plan?

Re: Realistic Premier League II
AC Milan will get players, they have a strong midfield, and Pato, Cassano, Robinho are all good attacking players.
I think they can win next season's Serie A.

Re: Realistic Premier League II
I hope so. If teams like Man Utd and AC Milan are getting pushed into selling or being out muscled in the market because there are stupid fees flying then we should all just give up.

Yeah, it's not good for football if teams like Man City and PSG win everything, it's a bad precedent of buying success.

Re: Realistic Premier League II
Double yep!
Can only see Juve clearing up again in Serie A, they've brought in quite a number of decent players over the summer, Inter will be the main challengers of anyone.

They're good players, but I reckon AC have a good side, and will invest. Carroll would do well in the Italian league I reckon, it suits his game more.

Re: Realistic Premier League II
Silva and Ibra are huge losses to them though.
Never hugely rated Ibra but he's an amazing talisman for a club. Whichever club he has been at over the years (and there's a lot of them) have won their prospective league title for 8 out of the last 9 years.
