But it wasn't Talksport that broke that anyway, it's just that he keeps going on about it. I think he's a closet Rangers fan.

AVB at Parkhead to watch Hooper. He would have been impressed, two goals and an assist. If we are to sell him then I hope a bidding war drives the price up.
A second bid was rejected today. Same money but with that choob Morison on top.
Here's Hooper's second goal:

Seems like he wants out mate!
I have always said if we are going to sign him I personally feel it would be in the summer and not in January.
I would like us to sign him, but I wouldn't want us to blow our whole budget on him. Other areas need improving as well

Re: The official "Norwich City to 40 points and Premier League safety" thread
Hooper doesn't want out, that's not to say he won't go Celtic offered him a contract in October, its been on the table until it was rejected on Monday night, now that wasn't an indication that he wanted to leave, it was an indication that he felt his value was more than what Celtic offered, which wouldn't have put him in the top 3 highest earners from a basic rate.
There is no doubt that Hooper will leave in the next 18 months, be it this month, the Summer or sometime in 2014 but that will only be because by that stage he'll need a new challenge, Celtic don't need the money and won't just cash in for the sake of it, they'll want to maximise their investment but they'll also not sell for the sake of it.
The first bid was a joke, £4.5m with only £2.5m up front and the rest coming in 4 installments, the second bid was only slightly improved with a higher initial down payment, I don't think Norwich are intentionally being insulting with their offers I just feel they are out of their depth.
I'd be amazed if he ended up at Norwich, I don't think the club can afford him, I don't feel they're the type of club that go down the route of spending big money either and I also without wishing to sound cheeky feel he'll get a more ambitious club bid for him
Hooper would happily stay this window though, its Celtic, they're trying to get a bidding war, if a bid comes in near £8m they'll sell

Well Hooper has a decision to make. Does he go to maybe a Spurs (rumored interest) and more than likely sit on the bench and wait for opportunities and hope to take them when they come.
Or
Does he go to a Norwich/Southampton/Reading and play regular first team football to prove himself in the Premier League and get a move to a bigger club further down the line (if he goes to one of these clubs and starts scoring regularly they will sell on)

To be fair losing to Bradford and losing to Luton are about on par. Both are professional football clubs with the only difference being that Luton currently sit in the Conference. Bradford v Luton could be a League 2 fixture next season.
It's always a big thing when any lower league club knocks out a PL club and rightly so. I love a bit of romance!
However I don't think this result will even be remembered in a couple years time whereas the Sutton win over Coventry in 89 will live in the memories of anybody that was around to see it back then. It was big because that Sutton team was, if I remember correctly, entirely made up of part time footballers whereas this Luton team isn't.
All that said good luck to Luton, they deserve some.

No excuses.
A premiership side has lost at home to a non league side
This is the funniest and best thing i have ever seen in football.
This is why the FA Cup is just amazing.

Bit sad that your own team can't provide you with the best thing/moment in football really...

What a result for the magic of the cup, hope Luton get a big prem side next
Re: The official "Norwich City to 40 points and Premier League safety" thread
hard result to swallow i think for olly judging by his posts.
but fair play to norwich for their respect towards luton. especially considering norwich were in league 1 only a few years ago, most fans think once theyre in the prem they shouldnt ever lose, but your lot accepted it
congrats luton, huge shock. and imo a bigger shock than bradford beating villa

According to Adrian Durham because Norwich lost to Luton they have now proved his statement that they are the worst Premier League side in history!

So Brighton couldn't even keep a clean sheet against a team that couldn't score against a team that lost to a non league side. How bad are Brighton!

He's right to an extent. Maybe not the worst Premier League side ever, but definitely the worst single thing from a Premier League side in history. First ever Premier League side to lose to a non league side, and it was at home to boot!

Very good point tonight but I feel the performance was needed more to get some confidence back in the place!
Becchio for Morison it seems, with Kamara in and working hard to get Hooper but cant see it happening myself

Whilst I am obviously disappointed we didn't get Hooper in, I am happy that we got our Plan B's in Becchio and Kamara in for not too much cash.
Both players who will be hungry to prove themselves at the top level, and hopefully they will be successful for us. If Becchio can chip in with a few goals I will be happy, and if Kei Kamara grows his beard I will be happy too.
Sad to see Morison go. He started off so well, but just faded badly.
