Important End of Season information -- please read

STAR PLAYER BIDS ARE OPEN

Star Player bids will commence Wednesday (15th), and run to Friday (17th) at midnight, when bidding is closed. Who got who will be posted on Saturday all being well - and assuming it can't be done earlier. If you miss out initially, there will be a second round bidding process and you may make another bid on a player. All bids will be sealed and PM'd to Hero and sodhat. It should be made clear that you cannot make a big bid on a Star Player, and then not have the cash all at once. All money must be paid immediately, or you miss out. We aren't doing IOU's on it, and that applies to everyone.

To qualify for the second round you must have submitted a first round bid - you can't just wait and see what's left. If there are exceptional circumstances as to why you missed the deadline you may appeal to the runners, but these circumstances absolutely do not include "I was playing Ultimate Team for 4 days with the curtains closed."

He should have been but I think the ref wanted to avoid more problems after Ivanovic. Kompany got booked for an identical offence though, so it looks stupid...

I thought Chelsea were acquitting themselves well in the first half until the red card. They looked a match for City, but once it was 10 v 11 it wasn't going to happen.

I'm presuming it's the end of Season 2 as the Cup final has taken place (as was mentioned last week), so players sold to lawyers in Season 2 are now eligable to be signed right?

The page says they become available in the same week of star players being available

Which makes sense actually, otherwise no one would be able to sign Falcao, for example

When are end of season lawyers?

Anyways, is everyone alright/had a good weekend? Its moving flat weeks for me this week so very excited :-).

Worth a punt signing players from "sold to lawyers".

Best case: Toulalan and Di Natale added to my squad for £18.3m

Worse case: Chuck them back and nothing's changed

Both things are being discussed and hopefully I can post something up soonish that is definitive. I think it will both be this week though.

Moses for £5.7 million is a bargain

Can I ask why? Or alternatively who do you rate?

If Moses moves to Chelsea (which is all but done) his ratings will go up. Either way he's eligible for the cup next season and is a good backup to Reus on the right

TSJ, I think Hodgson realised he was short in defence, so just called up another defender, as we have plenty of cover for The Ox in the squad. Hopefully with Hart out, Ruddy will start The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage XXV - Page 9 3933776953

Also Moses is decent, don't see why Chelsea are signing him, won't ever be good enough for them

Moses has impressed me a lot whilst at wigan, was linked with Chelsea/united/arsenal before he went to wigan.

I guess it could be a case of becoming better by having better players around you. Chelsea are a touch light on the right wing anyways so he'll get opportunities.

Either way £5.7 isn't too much of a gamble for a back up player

I'd suggest you haven't seen that much of him, towards the end of last season (when wigan had the form of champions) he was immense. I reckon he'll get quite a bit of playing time as we lack a genuine right sided winger:

Moses - Mata - Hazard

And olly if worst comes to worst then I'll sell him back to lawyers and make a profit

Marin is left sided tsj, which unless Hazard is going to play on the right means he will be rotated. It's hardly shafting him as I fully expect rdm to rotate our attacking players. I mean we could go:

Hazard - Mata - Marin

Moses - Mata - Marin

Moses - Hazard - Marin

Moses - Mata - Hazard

Hazard - Oscar - Marin

Moses - Oscar - Mata

Hazard - Oscar - Mata

Etc

I don't think Moses is good enough for Chelsea and won't play very much, but Gregers has signed him for about half his real life fee so worst case scenario is he gets sold on at profit.

That works. Mata is the best player out of all of them though so he'd be the automatic starter for me. I just can't see Moses getting a game; I've not seen anything special from him at all. Perhaps he'd be better with a clinical striker in front of him though.

Assuming these deals are done (i'm sure we'll get full confirmation later) my central midfield options are;

Khedira (Real Madrid), Schweinsteiger (Bayern Munich), Toulalan (Malaga (for now)), Essien (Chelsea), Asamoah (Juventus) and Ambrosini (Milan)

Will listen to offers for Kwadwo Asamoah and Massimo Ambrosini though, cash or trade.

Ok. To clarify:

End of season lawyers will go up tomorrow, so you have until the end of tonight to confirm the three you wish to receive offers on. You will receive two random lawyers on top of these, for a total of five.

Star Player bids will commence Wednesday, and run to Friday at midnight, when bidding is closed. Who got who will be posted on Saturday all being well - and assuming it can't be done earlier. If you miss out initially, there will be a second round bidding process and you may make another bid on a player. All bids will be sealed and PM'd to Hero and myself. In the interests of not cheating, I will make a bid tomorrow and PM to Hero so I can't just undercut everyone, Hero will do the same. It should be made clear that you cannot make a big bid on a Star Player, and then not have the cash all at once. All money must be paid immediately, or you miss out. We aren't doing IOU's on it, and that applies to everyone.

Ansaldi is a good player I'm a fan of him but the question is will he get rated despite the best players in Russia not getting rated as they should. Don't think so.

Gourcuff is a no from me.

Olly they were beautiful, I didn't think I would like it but I was blown away.

Well done to everyone who made it a great event.

According to the Scottish Sun Norwich have launched a bid to sign Emilio Izaguirre.

I take that with a pinch of salt, but TSJ what's he like? I ain't seen much of him, but have heard he is pretty decent

Well we only have Tierney at LB, since we let Drury go. Also have The King of Spain Simon Lappin. Never lost a Premier League game when Lapps has been playing. Only played 4 though lol.

So we are lacking at LB in terms of depth, I thought we might try get a loanee tbh as Tierney is decent

I must say as much as a prospect that Jack Butland is, the fact he could make his England debut on Wednesday before he makes his Birmingham debut is a bit weird

Izaguirre is alright. Had one great season, was linked with Man Utd, had his ankle snapped (possibly by Whittaker) and Charlie Mulgrew took his place. Best player to come out of Honduras since David Suazo.
