The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage XXV
First topic message reminder :
Star Player bids will commence Wednesday (15th), and run to Friday (17th) at midnight, when bidding is closed. Who got who will be posted on Saturday all being well - and assuming it can't be done earlier. If you miss out initially, there will be a second round bidding process and you may make another bid on a player. All bids will be sealed and PM'd to Hero and sodhat. It should be made clear that you cannot make a big bid on a Star Player, and then not have the cash all at once. All money must be paid immediately, or you miss out. We aren't doing IOU's on it, and that applies to everyone.
To qualify for the second round you must have submitted a first round bid - you can't just wait and see what's left. If there are exceptional circumstances as to why you missed the deadline you may appeal to the runners, but these circumstances absolutely do not include "I was playing Ultimate Team for 4 days with the curtains closed."

I'll argue 2010/2011 Spurs too after seeing what they did to the Milan clubs.

My team can't be improved
Your league position last season suggests otherwise
My team now can't be improved. I improved it, whilst getting spanked week in week out
Seriously who should I go for. I genuinely can't think of who to go for.
Anyone from (in TM value order);
Falcao, Gerard Pique, Juan Mata, Nani, Dani Alves, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Iker Casillas, Fernando Torres, David Villa, Vincent Kompany, Sergio Busquets, Daniele De Rossi, Sergio Ramos, Mario Balotelli, Kaka, Manuel Neuer, Javier Mascherano or Ezequiel Lavezzi

No. Bids aren't made accidentally, you sent two PM's with your bid. It's final IMO.

Nadeem, you can bid on anyone not currently in the league up to the TM value of £35m. You can bid anything over for that player, up to you. Sealed bids by PM to Sodhat and Hero, get them in ASAP!

You can make an unlimited bid (of money that you have - there are no I.O.U's) on a player up to £35m in value on Transfermarkt. PM it to me and Hero and we will let you know if you get the player, based on highest bidder alone.
If you don't, you get a second chance to bid on a new player with the same rules. Except largely you'll be uncontested in bidding and you'll know who is available. But you must enter a bid in round 1 to get a second round bid too.

Can I ask why nadeem has got 5 lawyers? He didn't put the three of his choice up on the page that was asked by everyone.
Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage XXV
Everyone gets 5 lawyers, but he foregoes having the luxury of choosing who they were on.

Didn't happen to me last season when I missed out, I only got the two.
Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage XXV
Are you sure? It would have been an oversight then, but the rule was always supposed to be 5 in the 'summer' whether random or selected.

100% I begged and pleased but everyone said it's the rules I remember Olly telling me to get over it.

Ok, well we have a couple of options...you can have 3 more lawyers now, we can take Nadeems away considering the precedent appears to have been set, or we can just say sorry and forget it.
Don't recall why you weren't given 5, because the rule was that everyone gets 5, but you can choose 3 of them. It says it on the page from last season too.

I haven't had a moan in ages thats why I don't want extra lawyers or Nadeem stripped of his.
Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage XXV
Is there a page where all the players that have been bought from foreigns are listed? I can't be asked going through every team to see if they already have the player.

You can go to the TP thread and try a ctrl+F and then search the player you're looking for. It should show you if they are in there, and all TP's have gone through that page.

Yeah, U21's. You need to have 3 U21's in your side to participate in the Cup. Aged 21 or under by Week 1 of Season 3.

Or you can bid on anyone else that isn't in the league (and hasn't been lawyered recently) but that might be a waste of a bid.

And haven't decided on injuries yet. While i'm at it, I haven't finalised the format yet.
If the fixture calendar can spare 5 Cup Weeks, we can do;
4 groups of 4. First 3 Cup Weeks are the 3 group games. Cup Week 4: Semi Finals, Cup Week 5: Final.
Gives everyone at least 3 cup games, and prize money for semi finalists, finalist and winner.
