CB: Richard Dunne
LB: Jonas Olsson
DM: Stiliyan Petrov
CM: Stephen Ireland
CM: Alberto Aquilani
RAM: Vladimir Weiss
LAM: Charles N'Zogbia
ST: Demba Ba
Big game today boys! Defensively we need to keep tight not giving them any breathing room. Full-backs stay tight to your men! Stop them from running down the touch-line. Centre-backs play a slightly deeper line soak up all pressure dealing with long balls & crosses. Defend as a unit! Wingers when defending help out fullbacks. Double up so stop them from playing out wide, when attacking; don’t be afraid to cut inside, lots of service to ST/CM. 3 Midfielders need to win the battle in the middle. Need lots of pressure crowding them out. When we’re on the ball, small, slick passing looking for triangles and playing the ball in behind the space. Aquilani will be our creative source, spay balls over the top and for wingers to run onto. Ba make yourself a nuisance challenge for every areal ball and close down from the front. Keep our shape!
Subs
Sub: Łukasz Fabiański
Sub: Stephen Warnock
Sub: Jean Makoun
Sub: Darren Bent
Sub: Olof Mellberg
Sub: Louis Saha
Sub: Chris Herd
Sub: If losing on 65 Mins Darren Bent to replace Stephen Ireland. Change to 4-4-2; don’t be afraid to have a go. If drawing/winning bring him on for Ba as a direct replacement on 77 Mins.
Sub: If Drawing/Winning Jean Makoun to replace Stephen Ireland 74 Mins. Much added beef to the midfield, physical presence on their midfielders.
Sub: Regardless of score on 75 Mins. Warnock to replace Olsson. Fresh pair of legs when defending. Look for long balls down to the wing & onto striker.

TACTICS (150 words)
Stoke will play their usual combative midfield and we have one of our own as we want the game to be a scrappy one. Their main threat comes from Ashley Young and we have to man-mark him. If he plays centrally, then Diarra should stick tight, if he's wide then the full back should stick to him.
We should look to play a high line as their strikers lack pace, unless Owen plays then we drop deeper as he still has some pace. Ferriera and Carragher should provide experience and talk to the younger defenders.
Diarra should be marking Young/shielding the back four while Fyvie and Noble play box to box roles. Krancjar should drift infield finding space between their defensive and midfield lines. Shane Long is fast and should use his pace as Shawcross and Huth are not quick and he should stretch the defense with his clever runs.

Right lads big game today. Last week was our 2nd defeat of the season and was a bit of wake up call that how tough this league really is and mistakes will be punished just like that. We have a superb squad today and can take the 3 points if we keep the standard we have set through out the season. We played some good football last week and Drog's got another goal but defensive errors did let us down but we have worked on that all week in training so we are 100% ready.
Goalkeeper - Been very key this season. Continue the standard you have set command the area and you will be fine.
Defence - Last week is done move on. You have been superb this season so we move on and continue to be soild for Fulham today.
Midfield - We did play some good football last week and got Jobi and Jimmy on the ball a lot which is what we want to do. Nolan and Henderson you guys have superb power and accrucey on your shots, feel free to take more shots when in a good postion. But always look to knock it out wide.
Strikers - Another goal for Drog's last week he is unstopable. Carlton contiue to work well alongside him and continue your good parntnership together.
COME ON LADS !!!!

Re: Tactics Submission Page - Round/Week 6
Stoke City v West Ham United
- Spoiler:
- Asmir Begovic
Alan Hutton - Robert Huth - Ryan Shawcross - Maynor Figueroa
Abou Diaby - Clarence Seedorf - Wilson Palacios
Ashley Young
Peter Crouch - Michael Owen
Subs: Thomas Sorensen, Matthew Upson, Glenn Whelan, Jonjo Shelvey, Gael Kakuta, Jermaine Pennant, Jonathan Walters
Tough but winnable game today. Playing 4-3-1-2 to dominate the midfield and hurt them down the middle. Hutton/Figueroa, watch for the West Ham wingers cutting infield, force them wide then block the cross. Bully them off the ball. Huth/Shawcross, they'll probably play 1 striker, either Long or Chamakh, Huth beat him in the air with a big height advantage, Shawcross cleans up. Stop his service and read the game to beat him to the ball. Seedorf/Palacios/Diaby, control the midfield, keep the ball, look for the strikers with long passing or the runs of Young out wide. Without the ball, help the fullbacks and pressure the West Ham midfielders. Young, free role, drop out wide either side, create space and chances. Stay on the move. Crouch/Owen, work as a little and large combo, if Crouch is winning a header Owen take a chance running in behind, both are natural goalscorers so stay calm and take your chances. Huth and Shawcross to get forward at all crossing setpieces to add to the threat.
Long range Freekicks: Figueroa
Close range Freekicks: Seedorf
Corners: Seedorf
Penalties: Owen
Subs:
If winning at 75 mins: Pennant and Kakuta on, Owen and Young off. Move to 4-5-1 with Kakuta at LM, Pennant at RM and Crouch the CF. Counter attack with fresh legs.
If drawing at 75 mins: Shelvey and Kakuta on, Diaby and Seedorf off. Go for a wide 4-4-2 diamond. Palacios as DM, Shelvey and Kakuta wide and Young the AM. Palacios must be sharp to cut counter attacks off.
If losing inside last 20 mins: Walters and Kakuta on, Seedorf and Diaby off. Go 4-3-3, Kakuta and Young wide, Walters joins Crouch and Owen upfront. If we still can't score and we're launching it forward, send Huth and Shawcross up too.

Hernandez-Rodwell-Ramsey-Hoilett
Adebayor-Bendtner
Sub:
Jaaskalinan
Johnson
Cuellar
Perch
Cole
Bellamy
Dyer
Tactics
Alright, we play Chelsea away, nobodies giving us a shot so we might as well have a go. Bendtner and Adebayor brutalise their defenders, look to get on the end of crosses and run them ragged. We’re going to feed our wide players, their FBs are weak, you can go round the outside and cut inside, do both to keep them off balance. Ramsay pick your runs and look to distribute. Forwards press it high up the pitch when they have possession.
Defensive Rodwell you’re the man who sits, look to cover the back 4, help double up on wingers and if somebody plays in the hole. Don’t let strikers in behind us, look to press the ball only when they get into shooting range, and keep yourself between ball and goal for blocks. Need to make sure to cover each other and communicate.
Subs:
Dyer for Hernandez: Give him a breather.
If winning, Bendtner off for Perch: Make a 3 man midfield and help cover

LB - Jose Enrique
CDM - Mohamed Diame
CDM - Scott Parker
CM - Nigel Reo Coker

----------Diame----Parker----------
-------------Reo-Coker-------------
Lennon-----------------------Sinclair
--------------Jelavic----------------
Team talk: Big the boys up, force united to play our way and don't let them get comfortable. If we force united to doubt themselves and not get settled/start to panic we can start to dominate them.
Gk: watch the runs from Rooney control your box
FB: Stay back and force wingers inside where Diame/Parker are waiting
CB: Same as every week, Jags to man mark the striker.
Diame/Parker: Bosh them up, be strong in the tackle make them not want the ball. Especially Kagawa if he plays. Mess up the cam's game plan.
Reo-Coker: engine room, run your socks off. Look to break with the wingers but get back so we have 3 in midfield whenever they are on the ball.
Sinclair/Lennon: use your pace to target their suspect full backs. Sinclair can own Maicon and Lennon can zoom past Evra. If we win the flanks we win the game.
Jelavic: 5 in 5, make it 6 or 7! Predatory as always, test de gea often. You're one of the best strikers in the league, prove it today.
---
Pens: Jelavic
Freekicks: Sinclair
Corners: Sinclair, normal instructions with diame and Nigel alternating who stays back with the fbs
---
Subs:
75 mins, donovan for Lennon. Ziegler for Sinclair. Fresh legs on the wings against tiring fbs.
80 mins, diame off Sanchez on. Like for like hard man in the center of the park. Continue to rough them up.

Tottenham v Villa

[
- Spoiler:
- Amos
Anyukov---Vertonghen---Caulker---Baines
Fellaini---Modric
Dzagoev---Hazard---Bale
Guidetti
Team talk: Up against the draw masters this week, so they are clearly resolute at the back, we need to be patient and probe for weakenesses throughout the game. Look for Modric and Hazard to move the ball from one side of the pitch to the other to sap Villa's stamina then strike.
GK to command, be vocal to back line, FBs to contain wingers and block crosses, keep them on the flanks, link up play with Bale & Dzagoev going forward. Caulker to keep close to Ba, Vertonghen to be aware of any wingers coming in & come forward with the ball when we are pressurising.
Fellaini pressure them early on for every ball whilst Modric is to use his intelligence to pass the ball about where opportunities present themselves going forward.
Bale and Dzagoev to control the flanks with movement, speed and intelligence, look to act as the second striker if the opposite winger has the ball by getting into the box, also to backtrack and assist our FBs. Hazard to have a free role to double up with attacking options where needed.
Guidetti to hang onto shoulder of deepest CB and be a real nuisance, look to use burst of speed to accelerate onto threaded balls through.

Naughton---Martin---Bennett---Tierney
-------Howson---Fox---Johnson-------
--------------Hoolahan----------------
------------Holt---Morison------------
Subs:
If winning/drawing: Morison for Le Fondre, Allen for Fox. Fresh legs, keep up what we are doing/
If losing: Snodgrass for Hoolahan. Johnson for Pilkington. Go 4-4-2, with Pilks RM, and Snoddy LM. Look to get crosses into the box.
Tactics/Team Talk: This is going to be a tough game. But what are going to do, is rough up Arsenal, as they don't like that. Back four, be strong in the tackle, look to get the ball forward to Holt and Morison. Martin and Bennett will likely be up against one so Bennett man mark, Martin sweep. Tierney and Naughton have the pace to handle the wingers. In midfield we are not going to let them have time on the ball. Fox sit deeper, and pick up the CAM, nullify him. Johnson and Howson help out your FB's. Look to get the ball into Holt and Morison. Hoolahan, get the ball off Holt and Morison, and make chances. Look to run in behind from flick ons. Holt and Morison, you can physically dominate there CB's. Be strong in the air, hold up the ball, or flick it on. Morison go make it 3 in 3 against Arsenal. Today boys we go out, and dont let them have time on the ball in midfield, and rough them up physically, be strong in the air. Lets get something here boys.

Line up:
Reina
Van Der Wiel Skrtl Toure Cissokho
Ramires Cabaye
Walcott Rossi Johnson
Suarez
- Spoiler:
- Tactics:
DEF: Full backs get forward as much as possible and overlap our wingers. Show attackers down the line.
MID: Ramires to be box to box, Cabaye hold position and dictate play. Walcott and Johnson to switch over wings from time to time. Rossi to have a free role in and around the final third.
ATT: Suarez to stay on the last man and look for through balls in behind the back four, you pace will cause all sorts of problems.
Team talk: Bad result last week vs Arsenal, let's really attack West Brom and see what they got. I fancy if we score early, we can really put them to the sword.

--------------------- Higuain --------------------
Subs:
Thibaut Coutious, Jose Bosingwa, Luke Shaw, David Luiz, Miguel Veloso, Lucas Piazon, Fernando Torres
Tactics:
- Cahill and Terry to keep it simple, stay tight on their man and don't allow sneaky touches around the area
- Ivanovic and Cole to be smart and choose when to go forward and when to hold back. When they overlap, the wingers will drop a bit deeper just in case Swansea break.
- Essien to stifle attacks and Carrick to keep possession. Complement each other beautifully.
- Lampard to roam and fill the gaps in between midfield and defence where he can be a danger. Also overlap Higuain and break into the box.
- Wingers to stay narrower than usual, giving Higuain support and allowing the full backs to overlap. Back themselves and run at defenders
- Higuain to play off the shoulder and look to get in behind, picking up balls from the wingers and Lampard.

Week 6 – Fulham vs. Reading
- Spoiler:
- SchwarzerSubs: Etheridge, Hughes, Baird, Murphy, Sidwell, McEachran, Wright-Phillips
Di Silvestri – Coates – Kaboul – Riise
Lucas
Michu –-------- Dembele
Dempsey
Defoe – Berbatov
Defending Tactics:
* Lucas, Shadow Drogba today. Keep him quiet and mark him out the game. You’ve done before, so you can do it again.
* Michu & Dembele, put pressure on their midfield to help cut the supply to Drogba.
* Kaboul & Coates, communicate and win your tackles and claim your headers.
Attacking Tactics:
* Defoe I want you to run at their defence today. Especially Gallas, he wont like it and you’ll have him for Pace.
* Dempsey, support the attack, and help put pressure on their defence.
*Berbatov, stay forward and sit on their defensive line. Be clinical in-front of goal.
Team Talk:
I’m asking a lot of the midfield today but I reckon you’ve got it in you. We’ve got to keep Drogba quiet today. If we do that they’ve got nothing. They’re a one-man team. We’ve got a good mix of youth and experience, so go out there and play with pride! Good luck!
IF WINNING AFTER 65 minutes - Baird on for Defoe. Help support Lucas defending against Drogba.
