Injuries: Darren Bent/Charles N'Zogbia/Miguel Lopes
- Spoiler:
- Formation 4-4-2
Staring XI:
GK - Shay Given
RB – Nathaniel Clyne
CB – Richard Dunne
CB – Jonas Olsson
LB – Stephen Warnock
RM – Vladimir Weiss
CM – Stiliyan Petrov
CM – Alberto Aquilani
LM – Stephen Ireland
ST – Louis Saha
ST – Demba Ba
Tactics:
Get last week out of our systems & let’s pick up our first win of the season! 4-4-2 today, so let’s put in a defensive display in isolating Drogba linking up any play! Slightly deeper-line challenging for every cross & areal ball, fullbacks look to get forward offering options in attack. Playing from out the back I want to see slick, fast moving football today, your more than capable! Wingers stick to the by-line, lots of crosses & taking on the full-backs. Centre-Mids/LM play compact looking dictate the play, look at all options, spreading play out wide, through balls and look for balls over the top. Look for the runs & space behind the defenders. Ba/Saha I want to see you on the end of crosses, make your self’s a nuisance in the box & running into space behind them. Let’s keep the shape and use our height on set-pieces!
Substations:
On 65 Mins: Gabriel Agbonlahor to replace Louis Saha. Formation change to 4-2-3-1 with Gabby playing on the left wing and Aquilini pushing up, lot’s of running at their tired fullbacks looking to take the game to them.
On 73 Mins: Fabian Delph on for Stephen Ireland. Same formation playing the holding role with Petrov in midfield. Don’t give them any room to play putting a challenge in.
Subs - Łukasz Fabiański, Ciaran Clark, Fabian Delph, Eric Lichaj, Gabriel Agbonlahor, Olof Mellberg, Chris Herd

- WEST HAM TACTICS TO PLAY ARSENAL:
- --------------------Robinson-----------------------
------------Carragher-----Wheater------------------
---Uchida-------------------------------Cissokho---
---------------Diarra----Noble---------------------
-----Drenthe->>--------------------<<-Krancjar-----
-------------------Rodriguez-----------------------
---------------------Long--------------------------
BENCH
Green
Alonso
Faye
Henry
Usami
Collison
Chamakh
TACTICS (150 words)
This week we are going to have a real go at Arsenal and attack. The full backs should charge forward and double up on their full backs, especially Gibbs. Krancjar and Drenthe should cut inside and look to shoot or play a ball in. Long will look to play on the shoulder of the last man while Rodriguez drops deeper, getting in the space between their midfield and defense that M'Vila usually covers, but is injured this week. Diarra should look to shield the defense and win possession while Noble gets forward more in a box to box role. It is important we stick tight to Van Persie and don't give him any time on the ball. Carragher and Wheater need to be physical. Chamakh should come on to provide a different sort of threat late on, while Henry provides more bite to the midfield to close out the game.

Man United vs Swansea
- Spoiler:
- --------Howard
Corluka-Dann-Johnson-Taylor
-------Rodwell-Ki
--------Ramsey
Hernandez-Adebayor-Hoilett
Subs:
Jaaskalainan
Cuellar
Fabio
Cole
Bellamy
Bendtner
Petric
Tactics:
No pressure on us today, nobody expects us to win, so go out and play without fear. We want to dominate possession today, 3 passers in the midfield to accomplish this, the best defense is to hold the ball. Plenty of movement, everybody needs to make themselves available for a pass. FBs overlap so the 2 wide men can join in as 2nd strikers. Try to isolate the FBs and take them on, they’re vulnerable. Adebayor play to get in behind and win headers, Ramsey make runs from deep.
Dann and Johnson communicate and don’t get caught far apart, don’t get beaten in the air. Rodwell and Ki drop back in and look to isolate anyone who plays behind the main striker. Front 3 press the defenders and look to grab a cheap goal.
Sub: 60 mins: Dyer and Bellamy for Hoilett and Hernandez, fresh replacements out side.

Tactics
Now we’ve got something to build on, let’s have a go today lads! Playing 5 at back today, so lots communication, Wing backs, stick to their wingers like glue, don’t let them run by you, usher them inside. CB’s, Normal line today but we’ll need to be physical marking Holt. I want to see you mop up every long ball & cross! Wing backs, pick your moments but bomb forward when on the break, Look to take on the fullback wiping in crosses & also looking to link up play. CM’s, you both have the legs to go box-to-box. Take it in turns when attacking to support. Defensively hard challenges putting the AM off his game, Look for the diagonal pass and over the top balls. Jones make yourself a nuisance with your size & strength. Wingers, take players on & look to cut inside. Lots of creative link-up play.
On 69 Mins – Maxi Rodriguez will replace Adam Lallana. Lots of running taking on players hugging the touch line. Late runs into the box behind the strikers picking up the 2nd ball.
On 74 Mins - Mahamadou Diarra will replace Morgan Schneiderlin. Fresh legs in midfield using your height to win all aerial challenges. Fill the holes in when their Winger’s cut inside.

If winning: Johnson for Rhodes. Burke for Snodgrass. Go 4-5-1 with Holt up top by himself, and Johnson in CM. Look to close the game out.
If drawing/losing: Hoolahan for Naughton. Martin for Tierney. Go 3-4-1-2, with Martin CB and Hoolahan CAM.
Tactics/Team Talk: Today we face a resurgent Southampton. Lets be quick with our play, get it out to the wings, and lots of crosses for Holt and Rhodes. When we defend, we have two banks of four, with one striker dropping in the hole if needs be. FB's they have tricky wingers, so show them onto there weaker foot, and our wingers will double up. Also overlap our wingers. CB's, without Lambert I expect 1 up top, so Distin man mark, and Bennett cover. Wingers, look to stay out wide and get crosses into the box. Whether they be early crosses or beat your FB and cross. Also help our FB's out by doubling up. CM's work box to box, get the ball out wide early. Have a pot shot if needs be. Strikers look for crosses into the box, you thrive off them. Holt be dominant in the air, and Rhodes look to get in behind from flick ons. Win us this game. Ok boys we will go out and play at a high tempo, looking to get the ball out wide and crosses into the box. Lets rack up another win today!

CAM: Suarez

Tactics:
Defending:

-Vargas for Johnson. Play LM and protect Corchia after 75-80 mins.

Right lads we host a good side in Aston Villa today. Been told today's match is sold out so we will have the Reading fans in full voice which i know will spur you all on. We were fantastic last week and got a great point at Swansea which is a tough place to go and played some fantastic football after a patchy run of form. Last week we played more defensive and sat back more and frustrated Swansea and attacked them on the break. This week were going to attack Villa more and look to play them off the park which i know we can do.
Defence - Best performance of the season last week. Keep that standard this week. Full backs stay tight to there wingers as they will use them to get us on the break. Gallas led by example again tonight.
Midfield - 3 of you in the middle of the park. Patience build up. If you need to play back do so. Look to knock it out wide to our exciting wingers. Bully them in strength as well.
Drogba - Cause havoc like you did last week. Run your socks off dont give them time to breath on the ball. Your one of the leading scorers in the league keep it that way!!!

Week 8 - Fulham vs. Newcastle
- Spoiler:
- Schwarzer
Baird – Hughes – Coates
Lucas
Moses -- Montolivo –– Michu -- Dembele
Dempsey
Berbatov
Team Talk:
I truly believe we can get something from today’s game. It’s going to be hard work but I believe we can out play Newcastle in the middle of the park. If we pack the midfield and stop them playing there will walk away with 3 points.
Defending Tactics:
* I want a back 5, with Moses and Dembele playing as fullbacks. You’ve both got the strength and engine to stop their wingers
* Lucas, shadow their attacking midfield. Whoever they play will look to create, so shut them down
* CB’s communication is key tonight, be dominant and win your battles
* Montolivo & Michu I want both of you to tightly mark their CM's. If we keep them quiet they’ll have no outlet to create.
Attacking Tactics:
* Work the ball around in the midfield, look for space to pass into. Utilise the creativity in the midfield.
* Michu and Montolivo I want you to play the ball for our attack players. Be quick and decisive with your passes.
* Moses and Dembele, be strong on the ball, take players on and get the ball into the box
* Dempsey play as a second striker. Make runs at their centre backs, with will open up space for other players to get in.
* Berbatov, look to receive the ball in the box, be clinical and take your chances.
If winning after 60 minutes. Bring on Riise and Riether for Michu and Baird. Go to a defensive 4-4-1-1

We play Swansea this week and i want you to go out there and give it your all.
GK: Come out if 1 on 1 and make yourself big. If you think you can punch/save any shots then try and do that during corners.
LB/RB: do what you can to force them wide and force them to play the ball to the centre where are Midfielders can pick up the ball.
CBs: Dont allow them to beat you easily and put them under pressure.
Mid: Dominate the Midfield as it will be a key to victory in this match. dont allow them to many chances.
Wings: Be ready for counters and feed the ball through Crosses or use Kagawa.
Kagawa: You have Help on the wings so you can use them if needed. Try and create chances.
ST: be aware of Kagawa and make sure chances are not wasted.

Subs:

Newcastle v Fulham

Liverpool v Everton

RB: Van Der Wiel
CB: Skrtl
CB: Hangeland
LB: Corchia
CM: J.Garcia
CM: Cabaye
LW: Milos Krasic
CAM: Suarez
RW: Adam Johnson
ST: Rossi
Tactics:
Defending:
-CB's touch tight on their striker(s)
-Full Backs try and show the wide men onto their weaker foot, any crosses should be cleared by the big man Hangeland
-I want Krasic to drop back and help out Corchia, same with Johnson with Van Der Wiel
-Garcia to shut down any attacks. Want to you man marking their creative midfielder.
Attacking: Derby game at home, let's lay a marker down
-Garcia to hold position and protect defence while I want Cabaye on the ball as much as possible. Get in that final third whenever possible.
-Johnson/Suarez really attack the full backs and run at them. Take plenty of shots when cutting inside.
-Rossi stay on that 6 yard line and the last defender, make runs off his shoulder and be there for tap ins
-Full backs, due to our attacking game, if one goes the other maintains position to be ready for the counter attack
Team Talk: I really want a big win here boys. Everton are a threat but I want you to go all out here and take it to them. If we score first let's go for the 2nd and 3rd and really drive them into the ground.
Subs:
-Walcott on for Krasic, make use of the fatigue of the Everton players
-Vargas for Johnson. Play LM and protect Corchia after 75-80 mins.

Team Talk: Its the derby today so play hard. Their fullbacks are weak defensively wingers attack them. Don't let them settle.
Vorm: Watch out for through balls. Command your box.
Enrique/Santon: Their wingers are confidence players so knock them off their game. Force them outside, isolate them.

Diamé: Stick to their cam (Suarez?) and wind him up about being a racist. Go in hard.
Parker: Big shift today, make sure that Cabaye is shut down. Do that = we win. Look for simple passes.
Pranjic: Break from deep and look to hit the wingers. Take some potshots.
Lennon/Sinclair: Attack their fullbacks (VDW and Corchia?) who aren't strong at tracking back. Alternate going wide/driving inside. Hurt them.

Re: Tactics Submission Page - Round/Week 8
Thanks Pull, generally in the other league nobody did it so it wasn't much of an issue. In future someone will sort it though
Just a note that predictions should be sent to me this week though.
