Re: Tactics Submission Page - Round/Week 14
West brom vs fulham
- Spoiler:
433/451
Kameni
De la garza vlaar Diego Reyes buttner
Pienaar mulumbu granero
Ince odemwinge dorrans
Team talk: in great form lads, unbeaten in 5 with 1 goal conceded - lets keep strong home form up
Kameni: long kicks wide to quick wingers when on, otherwise throws to fullbacks
Defense: de la garza hold, buttner go forward. Torres will probably debut, Reyes after an epic Olympics take him, you'll match his pace easily. If they go for berbatov vlaar mark him Reyes sweep.
Midfield: need to concentrate on ourselves today, fulham vary it up and will lack cohesion and our 3 are intelligent enough to adapt. They are lacking at fullback so I want to get to our wingers quickly. Mulumbu track runners (lampard), pienaar get it off the back 4, granero get forward.
Forwards: wide men go at full backs, cut inside and shoot/slip in odemwinge, go outside them with pace. Feel free to swap wings.
Odemwinge, play off the shoulder their centre backs are quick but poor position ally.
Subs:
Winning: 70 mins dorrans for lukaku, ince to left wing odemwinge to right.
Losing: 60 mins, pienaar and odemwinge for lukaku and fletcher - ince to left wing, dorrans to right - hit bye line get cossea in fletcher play off lukaku.

- Spoiler:
- Formation: 4-2-3-1
Starting XI
GK: Kelvin Davis
RB: Antonio Lopez
CB: José Fonte
CB: Olof Mellberg
LB: Danny Fox
CM: Morgan Schneiderlin
CM: Charlie Adam
RW: Mathew Phillips
AM: Adam Lallana
LW: Suso
ST: Rickie Lambert
Tactics:
Games are running out, so we need to go all out for the 3 points! Defenders, lot’s of communication keeping a solid back-line. We’ll be dealing with lots of crosses/aerial-play so dominant display clearing our lines. Defend in numbers crowding out attacking play through middle. Throws body’s on the line today! Full-Backs stay close to wide-men, block the crosses & look to follow them if they cut inside. Morgan will play anchor. Fill in the holes covering crosses/wide-play. Shield the back line using your frame, physical challenges on their AM. Charlie, deadly set-pieces, attacks start from you. Spray passes into the spaces for wide-players & balls over top to strikers. Wingers, run with pace. Hug the touch-lines whipping crosses into Lambert. Look to come-inside drawling fouls. Lambert, use your frame to your advantage. Hold play up linking attacks. Lallana, play of Lamberts knockdowns, attackers look to shoot if opportunities present themselves!
Subs: Florent Malouda, Dan Harding, Richard Chaplow, Kenwyne Jones, Jason Puncheon, Wayne Bridge, Dean Hammond
On 70 Mins: Wayne Bride will replace Danny Fox. Fresh pair of legs defensively coping with any runners on the wings
aOn 74 Mins: Jason Puncheon to replace Suso. Like for like role on the wings.
If Loosing
On 71 Mins: Jason Puncheon & Kenwyne Jones will replace Suso & Morgan Schneiderlin. Playing 4-4-2 formation with Puncheon moving to right-wing and Adam Lallana dropping into centre-mid. All out looking to get something from the game! Score more goals then them!

Re: Tactics Submission Page - Round/Week 14
Stoke City v Chelsea
- Spoiler:
- 5-4-1
Thomas Sorensen
Andy Wilkinson – Jonathan Woodgate – Ricardo Carvalho – Matthew Upson – Ryan Taylor
Michael Kightly - Maurice Edu – Darron Gibson – Matthew Etherington
Jermain Defoe
Subs: Glenn Whelan, Joey Barton, Jermaine Pennant, Jonjo Shelvey, Chris Brunt, Clarence Seedorf, Michael Owen
In our dramatic end of the season, we face a very strong Chelsea side. Any point today is a bonus, but with the threat of relegation very real, we must fight to the very end. No point beating around the bush, we’re going to park the bus and do to Chelsea what Chelsea did to Barcelona. We're going to stop them from playing football. Defending is not ugly, defending is a beautiful art form. We are going to earn one point or three, but we all need to leave absolutely everything on the pitch. Back 5 and Sorensen, be strong, be brave, hurt the fancy forwards of Chelsea and scare them off. Midfield, give them hell, get in their face and show them you are not to be messed with. Kightly/Etherington, give us pacy wide options and look for Defoe. Defoe, don’t waste energy, let them have the ball in defence, and use your pace to hurt them on our rare counter attacks. Give it everything, COME ON YOU STOKE!
Subs 80 mins:
If winning or drawing: Change nothing
If losing: Owen and Seedorf on, Upson and Gibson off. 4-4-2, Seedorf with extra creativity, push for the equaliser.

------------------------------------------------------
--- Cazorla ----------------------------- Podolski -
---------------------- Giroud -----------------------
----------------- Robin Van Persie ----------------
Subs:- Szczesny, Jenkinson,Mertesacker,Rosicky,Chamberlain
Sagna and Gibbs are to sit back and help their defence out and only break forward when we go on the break. Sagna and Gibbs are quick and will keep with the opposing wingers, force them out of play. They will get forward and support the wingers but only when safe and one at a time.Koscielny and Vermaelen are to be big and strong in their tackles and in air. They are quick and powerful and they will watch for players coming through or through balls, so they can intercept man or ball .Song and m'vila are to be big and strong in their tackles. Both need to sit back and help the defence out.Podolski and Cazorla are to help out their full back and need to be quick when we go on the break. Giroud needs to be getting in and around Rvp to give him support up front. We need him to get the ball from the back and break forward as much as possible to support Rvp. Rvp is to be big and strong in the air. He needs to hold the ball up and draw in our other players from midfield. He will look for Song,m'vila,Cazorla and Podolski to set him up, if they create, he will score.

- West Ham tactics to face Aston Villa:
--------------------------Robinson--------------------------
----Uchida---------M'Bia---------N'Koulou------Cissokho-----
---------------------------Diarra----------------------------
----------------Alvarez------------Krancjar------------------
---------Walcott--------------------------Sturridge----------
----------------------------Long----------------------------
BENCH
Fielding
Alonso
Hanley
Noble
Flamini
Olinga
Chamakh
TACTICS (144 words)
We need to win this game to have any chance of making a miracle last day escape, as with Villa playing midweek, we have a chance. They look weak in defense this week and we want to target that by playing attacking. Krancjar and Alvarez should take it in turns to get forward, one playing as a deep lying playmaker, the other as an attacking midfielder supporting the forwards. Get forward with pace and have someone on the shoulder of the last man.
Constantly be looking to win the ball back when we don't have it, and look to dominate possession with all our attacking players seeing a lot of the ball. M'Bia should man-mark Bent, get slightly deepeer as he can be a threat with his pace, but don't allow him to get shots away. Diarra should stay back to shield the defense.
SUBSTITUTION:
If winning bring on Noble or Flamini for Alvarez to shore up the midfield.

Re: Tactics Submission Page - Round/Week 14
Liverpool v Manchester United
- Spoiler:
Injuries: Maicon/Ryan Giggs/Karim Benzema4-2-3-1
David De Gea
Chris Smalling - Mats Hummels - Nemanja Vidic - Patrice Evra
Steven Gerrard - Darren Fletcher
Rafael - Shinji Kagawa - Andre Schurrle
Gonzalo Higuain
Subs: Anders Lindegaard, Rio Ferdinand, Phil Jones, Tom Cleverley, Paul Scholes, Danny Welbeck, Javier Hernandez
De Gea, command your area, be confident with long range shots, distribute the ball well. Hummels/Vidic, dominate Rossi. Outmuscle him, bully him, ensure he is low on confidence. Bring the ball out of defence. Smalling/Evra, watch the wingers, always force them wide, block the crosses. Fletcher, sit infront of the defence, be our rock in this game like you usually are. Gerrard, emotional game, but block out the hatred with an inspiring box to box performance. Rafael, playing RW but as you're known for your attacking this should be no problem. Get crosses in, get shots in. Same applies to Schurrle at LW. Kagawa in the free role to create and cause mayhem. Higuain, mark Hangeland. Stick to him, Skrtel wont double mark or he'll leave space for Kagawa, target Hangeland and beat him for pace, beat him in the air and shoot on sight.
Subs 75 mins:
If winning: Scholes on, Rafael off. Scholes an extra CM, Kagawa moves to RW. Counter attack.
If drawing: Cleverley and Welbeck on, Kagawa and Schurrle off. Like for like, Cleverley with something different at AM, Welbeck at LW to cut inside and shoot. Push for the win.
If losing: Welbeck and Hernandez on, Gerrard and Schurrle off, go 4-3-3 and push forward. Hummels to get forward too late on.

Re: Tactics Submission Page - Round/Week 14
Southampton vs Everton (posted on behalf of Gregers)
- Spoiler:
- Injuries: Geoff Cameron/Andre Wisdom/Steven Naismith
Team: (4-3-3)
GK - Vorm
LB - Enrique
CB - Jagielka (c)
CB - Evans
RB - Santon
DCM - Diame
CM - Parker
CM - Defour (If I get him, if not then Pranjic)
LW - Sinclair
RW - Lennon
CF - Jelavic
Subs:
Hahnemaan/Hutchingson/Dawson/Downing/Rodallega/Donovan/Pranjic (If Defour transfer doesn't go through then Reo Coker on the bench)
Team Talk: We need a win today to ensure us CL football next season. Southampton are weak at fullback so I want Sinclair and Lennon to terrorize them. Jelavic to shoot on sight as Davies is a liability in goal. We can also dominate the midfield today which is why we've gone three in the center.
Vorm: Be strong in the air to nullify Lambert
Enrique/Santon: Stick to their wingers and force them outside, overlap but make sure you get back
Jagielka/Evans: Jagielka to stick to Lambert, he's quite one dimensional so stop him from playing. Evans to watch the runners. Be strong in the air.
Diame: I'd imagine one of Suso or Lallana will play as a CAM. Whoever it is is your responsibility. Stop them from settling.
Parker/Defour (Pranjic): Big games from you two, make sure we dominate the midfield. Do this and we win. Pass around Adam, he'll switch off. Look for the wingers.
Sinclair/Lennon: Use your pace and trickery to obliterate their fbs. Alternate between driving inside and whipping in crosses.
Jelavic: Be predatory. Look to link up with the wingers. Davies is a liability so test him often.

Torres
Team talk:
Today, I want you to dominate WBA from start to finish, pass them off the pitch. They’ve performed well over the past couple of games but I want you to show them that they’re boys against men today.

* Midfield, your experience today is key. Feed our front men with precise passes to feet.

* Torres, Play on the shoulder of their defence, look to receive the ball and beat their man and take your chances
Defending Tactics:
* CB’s don’t be afraid to get physical! none of their forward players will like that.
* Play a deep line to cope with the pace of their attack.
* Lucas close down the main in possession.
* I want everyone back to help curb any pressure they put us under. Get the ball back and hit them on the break.

West Ham Vs Aston Villa
- Spoiler:
- Formation: 4-3-3/4-5-1 (Defending)
GK: Łukasz Fabiański
RB: Nathaniel Clyne
CB: Ciaran Clark
CB: Michael Mancienne
LB: Stephen Warnock
CM: Stephen Ireland
CM: Fabian Delph
CM: Alberto Aquilani
RAW: Vladimir Weiss
ST: Darren Bent (C)
LAW: Nathan Delfouneso
Subs: Shay Given, Miguel Lopes, Chris Herd, Andreas Weimann , Gary Gardner, Louis Saha
Tactics:
Big game this week, we need to cement our place qualifying for Europe against a struggling side. Defenders lots of communication playing normal line. Dominant display with physical/robust challenges. Your pace is more than enough to deal with them running at you. Full-Backs, compact the space making it smaller, force the wide-players inside where midfielders will pick them out. RB look to support RAW with runs on the underlap. Midfield, look for slick passing always moving the ball, lure them out of positions. Delph will play holding picking up runs of attacking-midfielders, shielding the back-line picking up the scraps. Aquilani, playmaker role, get the ball down/quick incisive passing. Plan B play high ball into spaces where attackers can hurt them with pace. Ireland, box-to-box role this week, you have the engine. Strikers/Wide-players look to chase the game from the front, they’ll panic. Use your pace to torment them, running into space behind.
On 71 Mins: Miguel Lopes will replace Stephen Warnock. Fresh pair of legs who can has pace coping with attacks. If loosing look to support going forward, not getting caught out.
On 72 Mins: Louis Saha will come on in place of Nathan Delfouneso. More central role using height/frame linking up with Bent. Weiss will run into space on both flanks.

Liverpool vs Man Utd
1st of all I'd like to apologise again for my late entry of tactics. Now i've got back from the library sorting out my internet. I accidentally typed in my aber email password into 606v2 and when you enter the uni email into a website not associated with aber it locks your email address as well as your internet. this was around 11:35 last evening. Just got back from the library and now have got it sorted. If you feel that it isn't a valid excuse and therefore I forfit the game that's not a problem. Sorry for the delay fellas.

Albiol
Schmelzer

Cabaye
Rakitic
Isco
Suarez
Rossi
-------------Reina-------------
Corchia---Skrtl----Albiol---Schmelzer--
----------Cabaye---Garcia--------------
-Johnson---------Isco---------Suarez---
-------------------------Rossi------------
Tactics:
Defence:
FB's when attacking, one go forward one stay back, let's not get caught on the break. Albiol first game, show them how good you are. Look to receive off Reina to start the attacks. Skrtl be strong and get tight to their striker.
Midfield:
Garcia be physical and look to disrupt their midfield, especially their CAM if they play one. Get in the box for corners your areal threat will cause havoc. Cabaye get on the ball and look to our game changers in Isco/Suarez/Johnson, keep the high tempo and don't allow Utd to settle. Isco and Suarez I want you two to alternate, both of you are great in behind the striker so I don't want utd to get on top of one of you. Johnson attack your FB and have a pop whenever you feel.
Attack:
Rossi you've been in superb goal scoring form, let's continue it today. Make darting runs for Suarez and Isco and look for the rebounds from shots from both wings. Stay on the shoulder of the last defender and you'll be on the score sheet no doubt.

Liam, I can't see it being a problem at all. The likes of Olly & Trebs encourage everybody to get their tactics regardless of how late they are if there's a given valid reason. I highly doubt that anybody's voted yet anyway so it's really nothing to worry about.

Re: Tactics Submission Page - Round/Week 14
The tactics deadline is midnight on Thursday, if they are handed in late, but before midnight on Friday, then a goal will be deducted from the final result. If they are still not handed then the opposing team will be handed a 2-0 automatic win.
Depends on how it's enforced?
