The Hillsborough Memorial Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Liverpool
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The Pub has made its way to Liverpool in honour of the victims of the Hillsborough disaster, who may finally receive justice.
We are also mourning the sudden loss of Nevin Spence, his father Noel and brother Graeme, who died tragically at their farm in Hillsborough, Co. Down yesterday.
We offer our thoughts and deepest sympathies to his sisters Emma (who remains in a stable condition in hospital), Laura, their mother Essie, family and all friends and fans of the Ulster Rugby community.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Andy Murray, Craig Newby and Delme Thomas.

I have watched them in the Championship, and their back line play 'the Welsh way'.
More so than any of the Regions bar Scarlets.
Good inside knowledge as per, Hound mate.
Love a team that likes to throw it abaaawt.
Cant wait to see London Irish v London Welsh. Be just like daul days.
Miss your Wasp face btw.

Guys: for the next pub can I suggest we go for a celebration pub rather than a memorial one, with photos on the wall of rugby/sports stars who lost their live's too early?
Just a suggestion and hope I don't offend anyone.

After a speedy perusal of some of the highlights I have these points to make:
1. Why the hell have I never watched this sport before?
2. guns
3. why on earth don't rugby players wear short sleaves to show off their own said guns?
4. I really did not need to see that guys ankle being broken in slo mo
Doh, sorry, memo to self, watch whole clip before posting. The 1st clip that came up on Google had awful music so I went to the next one
Dreamer, here's the match I was talking about last night. Don't worry, there's no broken ankles in this one. The 11 match losing streak was finally broken though.

They'll play the winner of Hawthorn Hawks and Adelaide Crows today. Hawks are v. strong favourites but anything is possible.

Gibbo - it's about realising the level of intensity at Prem level. Welsh seem to have got it pretty quickly.
Rava - Sale, I just don't get. They have a good squad of players.
Redpath?

Gray's decision is looking a bit off now then isn't it.
Sale need a local derby to get them going

Morning Glas.
How did the ram sale go? About the only 'Sale' worth talking about at the mo (sorry swanny).
Which is not to belittle the efforts of London Welsh.

We virtually gave them away.
That's what you get for refusing to accept bids from Osprey fans.

Re: The Hillsborough Memorial Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Liverpool
Good Morning fellas.
Any suggestions for a new pub location and wall pictures?
I was thinking since it's the Grand Finals here next week... maybe Melbourne (or some obscure suburb up the Yarra River - like North Warrandyte, Yarra Glen or Yarrambat) and a picture of Lance "Buddy" Franklin (Hawks) or Lewis Jetta (Swans) on the wall.
Nominations for other places and some rugby players are more than welcome.

Ah, that 'impoverished farmer' look is it?
rodders - no chance of seeing that in London last night. We were under about 5,000' of cloud.

We saw it on the way home from a night out, I'd had a few so thought I'd imagined it....
Wow was mad though, right above our heads. We were in the car so raging now we didn't stop and take photos .

I'd have been surprised if it was under yer arse!
Seriously, that sounds amazing. I remember lying on a beach on Greek island at about 2am years ago and saw something similar. I felt tiny.

Morning all
Hope everyone is well. I am watching Taranaki v Northland in the ITM Cup. Good fast paced game this, but no tries just yet.
Gutted I am working this afternoon, really wanted ot be at the MadStad to see us take on Bath. Ah well fingers corssed for a win after London Welsh's result last night. If the season ended now they would be in the Heineken Cup next season!!!
Who have the real Sarries got this week Penfro?

Hound, if you are ever planning that mate, then let me know, Cardiff ain't that far down the M4 for me, and it's the sort of thing I can just drag the kids along to if I'm being daddy daycare.
