The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of Micky T above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Indeed, I miss his face too.
Have taken the decision to rest up this evening, no Welsh class for me, just lots of dwr and I think.
Pete, just been catching up with LI news. Baffling the other guy only got a week, I really can't understand it.

Evening all, and best of luck to the injured/ill contingent.
Comment from the last gaff...
"Kiwi, that'd be great if you're free for a pint. I'm due to finish 5/5.30 and I'll be on Buckingham Palace Road. I could come and meet you from work."
I would suggest you guys meet up near Leicester Sq. Piccadilly line from Hyde Park Corner swanny. Kiwi can guide you from there
You can then get the Northern Line to Euston.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
sorry Stag was on the phone to my mam.
I think the scrum's will be very interesting, especially with all the hoo ha that's been surrounding the saints scrum this week.
I just think, the way we can live of scraps will help us. We've got to keep up with saints for the first 60mins and then hopefully in the last 20mins we can do our thing. Last 3 games now we've played our best stuff in the last quarter.
Only issue is that at scrum half Gareth Davies is getting his first start in ages, and we only have Rhodri on the bench as cover. Huge risk.
Hound - that sounds a lovely weekend

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
You were 23-9 up after 50 minutes last week. Was the last quarter really your best period? Castres then clawed their way back into the game and with 79 minutes gone the score was back to 28-23. A Priestland penalty in last minute denied them the bonus point.
Now I didn't see the game but that suggests you started well.

patient, and very well worked try by the Dragons there Evans of the backrow scores it. Great pass and great angle.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Stag - it was only 9-6 at half time in that game, and we messed up countless chances 1st half, weren't playing well at all!
Admittedly Castres did come back into it in the last 15mins I guess, but I didn't feel like we were going to lose it. We were certainly much, MUCH better 2nd half (okay arguably the 3rd quarter was our best part of the match, but just felt we were the stronger in the last part, especially the last 10mins).
This match is brilliant, really fast paced, and Perp were almost in for a try then. Lovely stuff.

not quite sure you're going to get the result you want with that one Hughie.
Loving the battle that's shaping up between Tovey and Hook in this match.

Must be the lignite in the water. No matter anyway, Tovey impervious at outside half, giving Hook an object lesson. Allez Dragoni!
