Aston Villa Vs Liverpool
- Spoiler:
- Formation: 4-3-3
Injuries: Shay Given, Łukasz Fabiański, Jonas Olsson
Starting XI
GK: Brad Jones
RB: Nathaniel Clyne
CB: Joris Mathijsen
CB: Richard Dunne
LB: Stephen Warnock
CM: Jean Makoun
CM: Alberto Aquilani
CM: Stiliyan Petrov ©
ST: Darren Bent
ST: Demba Ba
ST: Gabriel Agbonlahor
Tactics:
We beat these in the cup, let’s prove we can again! Jones look to get the ball out wide early. Backline, play a deeper line dropping off. CB’s will need to be physical & dominant defending, use your experience/throw yourselves into blocks. Full-backs contain the wingers, keep them isolated out wide blocking crosses. Warnock, hard challenges, don’t get caught out. Clyne, bomb forward when countering. Midfields 3, simple passes, look to dictate the pace of game. Aquilini play the strings linking up attacking play. Spray balls out wide & up to target men. Makoun, drop into holding role, bully their AM. Give him no room to play. Petrov use your head, accurate passes/high balls. Forwards, look to break from out wide. Lots of running at their defenders, Plan B high ball to Ba, look to control then link up attacking-play. Bent/Gabby run off the shoulders. Slick passing, hurt them with pace!
Subs: Stephen Ireland, Ciaran Clark, Louis Saha, Eric Lichaj, Charles N'Zogbia, Nathan Delfouneso, Vladimir Weiss
On 70 Mins: Ireland will come on for Petrov. Box-To-Box role. You have the legs to get up and down the pitch. Look to late runs into the box following the ball.
On 74 Mins: N’Zogbia to replace Makoun. Look to peel off onto the left hand side. Lots of runs taking on their tiring full-back. Lots of pinpoint crosses onto Ba/Bent.

--------------------- Wilshere ---------------------

Koscielny and Vermaelen are quick and powerful and they will watch for players coming through or through balls, so they can intercept man or ball. Sagna and Gibbs are quick and will keep with the opposing wingers, force them out of play. They will get forward and support the wingers but only when safe and one at a time.
Song and m'vila will shield the opposition away from the danger area, stop them getting onto the ball and passing it about force them into mistakes. They will also make late runs into box and is very dangerous in the air. Gervinho will attack the flank and will use Wilshere and RVP as one twos, if not driving in cross it over for RVP.
Wilshere is the experienced one that will link everything up from mid to att. He is a very gifted player and will create many chances for RVP and the wingers. He will also watch for oppositions am’s cm’s going forward and stay with them. RVP will have to be at his brilliant best,He will look for Song,m'vila and wilshere to set him up, if they create, he will score.

Rodriguez
Long
TACTICS (149 words)
We need to get a result today as we're bottom of the league and need to avoid relegation. We need to keep things tight in midfield to force them to go out wide. We need to fight for every ball and use the power in our attack to punish them.
Defensively we can't give Jelavic an inch. M'Bia and Wheater should get tight to him, shove him off the ball and blast it clear. Whichever side they attack, either Noble or Fyvie will act as a wide man to support their wing back. If they play an AM then that is Diarra's responsibility.
Offensively, look to play high balls into the box. Both our strikers are taller than Jagielka and we should use that. Krancjar should be our main playmaker and has freedom to drift around the pitch to avoid man-markers. Uchida and Alonso should get forward and cross.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Rodriguez and Long are key. They can come on and add pace to our attack, running at a tiring defense to change the game. If we're in a winning position then bring on Henry to add another tackler in midfield, he should run at the ball and win it back.

Ben Arfa ------------------- Remy
Cisse
Subs Forster, Bertrand, Chalobah, Sigurdsson, Marveaux, Varela, Benat.
Captain: Collocini
Tactics
Defence
Keep a tight line at all times. They will miss the movement of Higuain so be sure to stick tight to Torres and watch the movement of Mata. Look for them to cut in and watch the offside trap. Lass to support the defence and marshall the midfield. Don’t become cluttered.
Midfield
Look to control possession. Keep the ball on the deck and open up the space. Use the touchline as much as possible to create space in the channels. Mikel and Jeremy to dictate play. Hatem and Loic to provide support to Cisse in attack.
Forwards
Hatem and Loic to support Papiss going forward. Cisse to trouble the last man and create openings. Papiss to get on the end of crosses.
Subs:

Tactics: Boys we face a tough challenge today so what we are going to do is be tight in defence, and look to dominate in midfield. In defence we are 5 at the back in a rigid line, full backs will get help from Distin and Martin on there respective sides. Midfield you are a compact 4, work hard, dont let them have a minute on the ball. Holt put a shift in and close down defenders. When we get the ball, look to hit Holt who will hold it up and bring our midfielders into play. Full Backs get forward and offer width, if not, the 4 in midfield play in triangles, and look to make space for Hoolahan, who can run at there defence and shoot or play Holt in to score. Lets get a win today lads!

We face reading and i want you to pick up the pass, dont allow them to win the ball and make them struggle for Possession. When defending Man Mark your player, give them no time or movement on the ball. On the wings i want you to use your speed and try to whip in crosses. Dominate the midfield by passing short and long when you see an opening. Strikers get forward and try and slip past there defense by using your speed and make sure to keep the pass up by moving for opening spaces, don’t just sit there and wait get in to an opening and try and get the ball towards your feet and finish the chances well.

- Swansea vs Norwich:
- Jaaskalainan
Corluka-Williams-Dann-Taylor
Rodwell-Ramsey-Perch
Hernandez
Bendtner-Adebayor
Fullbacks: Push the fullbacks outwide, look to provide width to the attacks
Rodwell/Perch: Look to cover the fullbacks out wide, play a simple ball or look to hit long for Bendtner if its on.
CBs: Mark Holt tightly, don’t give him free headers, don’t get caught flat footed if Rhodes plays. Don’t let him in behind.
Ramsey: Keep possession and look to feed Hernandez if he finds space. Time runs forward but don’t get caught out, drop in if required
Hernandez: Find the space, be it in the hole or out wide. Free role so drift around, look to make passes and runs.
Adebayor: Play on the last man, and look to run in behind and feed off the service from Bendtner
Bendtner: Win the long balls, flick on for Hernandez and Adebayor.
High Tempo lads, press the issue at home.

Right lads last week we gave Tottenham a real good goal and we got praise all round. We need to continue that this week as we host one of the worlds best sides in Man United. But we have the bodies siting in front of me that can easily do it.
1. Goalkeeper massive game for you today and i know you will enjoy it. Boss the back 4 and make sure they keep the high line.
2. Back 4 a change as Alex replaces Gallas. Seize the oppertuinty and lead the back 4 well. Angel and Ian your going to be on your toes a lot today.
3. Jordan has left the club this week but Jem will replace him. You 3 keep the way you have been playing in recent weeks bullying them and sending the ball around the park.
4. Drogba always on your feet, chasing everything down. Finish where you can.
There is a sell out today you can already hear the fans in full voice. Put on a show for them

Team Talk: I'm expecting a win today so lets take it to WHU, lets solidify our Top4 Place! Make WHU chase the ball, use our wide men and Sinclar to hurt them.
Vorm: Be strong in the air to claim any crosses/high balls.
Santon/Enrique: Look to force their wingers to come inside. Overlap our wingers but make sure you get back.
Jagielka/Evans: Their strikers are all confidence players so keep them quiet. Be calm and carry on!
Parker: Keep their CAM (Kranjcar?) quiet. Look for simple passes like Pranjic.
Pranjic: Watch for any runners/support Parker. Simple passes, make WHU run after the ball.
Downing/Donovan: Look to expose their fullbacks, alternate going outside/cutting inside. So you can get crosses in/link up with Sinclair.
Sinclair: Big game. Terrorize their DCM, link up with Jelavić, take on their CBs.
Jelavić: Play off the shoulder of CB, utilise Sinclair/Wingers. Chance=Shot!

Aston Villa vs Liverpool
Starting 11:

Starting 11:
----------------------Reina----------------------
--Van Der Wiel----Skrtl-----Hangeland----Schmelzer--
-------------------Cabaye--Sandro----------------------
--Johnson--------------Suarez---------------Isco--------
-------------------------Rossi-----------------------------
- Spoiler:
- Subs:
Walcott: On after 70 mins for Johnson, take advantage of tiring legs
Rackitic: on regardless 75 mins for Isco, switch to 4-3-3 with Rackitic, Cabaye and Sandro in the middle and Suarez moving out wide left
Defending:
They have a small midfield, Sandro look to impose yourself on Aquilani who will play higher up the pitch. Skrtl get tight to Bent, push him deeper so he doesn't get a sniff inside the box. Hangeland don't allow Ba (?) time on the ball. VDW I think Agbonlahor will be back this week, you have the pace to match him. Don't dive in, he hasn't got a great final ball and we can keep him quiet all day. Schmelzer show attackers down the line, our CB's are good in the air. Johnson, come back and double up on their winger and help VDW, can't see their FB's bombing forward.
Attacking:
VDW get forward, their left side is week and with Johnson cutting inside we have the option of letting you lose on the outside. Suarez and Isco you have free roles. Alternate between cam and LW, you two are incredible talented and will be too quick for their slow defence. Look to feed through balls to Rossi, he doesn't miss many, plenty of shots when you get the chance. Cabaye, get on the ball, if they man mark you then allow Sandro to get on the ball and drive forward, he's also good on the ball otherwise get it wide quickly.
We got too much for them today boys, too much pace and quality. I want a positive performance and a positive result. Let's go to work.

Fulham v Stoke City
- Spoiler:

Asmir Begovic
Alan Hutton - Ricardo Carvalho - Ryan Shawcross - Maynor Figueroa
Jonjo Shelvey - Maurice Edu - Abou Diaby - Ashley Young
Kevin Mirallas - Peter Crouch
Subs: Thomas Sorensen, Matthew Upson, Ryan Taylor, Wilson Palacios, Chris Brunt, Michael Kightly, Michael Owen
Begovic command your area, Hutton/Figueroa be wary of the Fulham wingers, get forward occasionally, Figueroa use that left foot for another wondergoal if you fancy it. Carvalho/Shawcross, dominate Defoe and/or Berbatov. Edu, chip in defensively, sit infront of the back four. Diaby, box to box. Shelvey/Young, use pace and trickery to create chances. Mirallas/Crouch, work together, get into the area for crosses, shoot on sight.
Subs 70 mins:
If winning: Upson, Palacios and Kightly on, Mirallas, Diaby and Shelvey off. Upson an extra CB, Palacios a more defensive CM, Kightly at RM go 5-4-1 and look to counter attack with the pacy wingers.
If drawing: Brunt and Owen on, Young and Mirallas off. Brunt LM, get crosses into the area, Owen upfront with Crouch, give it your all for 20 minutes, try something different to get the win.
If losing: Owen and Upson on, Hutton and Young off. 3-4-3, Upson to CB with Carvalho/Shawcross, Figueroa to LM, Owen upfront with Crouch/Mirallas. Get the ball forward. If still losing on 85 mins, Shawcross and Carvalho upfront too and get the ball into the area.

Big game this week, let's keep our good run going.
Keeper:
Be strong look to our wide men for quick counters
Defense:
Normal line, grygera hold and don't allow bale and babies to overlap, buttner push forward when possible and get at walker with dorrans on the inside channel, he is quick but lacking in nous- draw fouls by going onto his weak side. Vlaar mark the bigger man, ridgewell sweep.
Midfield:
Man mark modric, Granero be all over him if he is deployed deep, don't let him get it off te back 4, get on ball when we have it. Wanyama take hazard if he's in no 10 role, granero cover if Wanyama pulled wide.
Forwards:
Dorrans link with buttner and get inside walker.
Odemwinge use pace wide against Baines, get into box when possible. Lukaku be physical, hold ball up and bring wide men into play.

Southampton Vs Arsenal
- Spoiler:
- Formation: 4-5-1
Injuries: Richard Chaplow, Rickie Lambert, Maxi Rodriguez
Starting XI:
GK: Kelvin Davis
RB: Chris Gunter
CB: Gareth MaCuley
CB: Chico
LB: Wayne Bridge
DM: Morgan Schneiderlin
CM: Adam Lallana
CM: Charlie Adam
RAM: Mathew Phillips
LAM: Kieran Richardson
CF: Alexander Frei
Tactics:
Let’s close them down straight from Kick-Off. Give them no room to breathe! Centre-Backs, lots of height should be able to deal with high/long balls easily. Look to brush off their forwards with your size/strength. Look to clear your lines! Full-Backs stay tight look to usher them back inside. Gunter, provide support going forward. Bridge look for long-balls. Schneiderlin, anchor role. Break up all attacking play & look to fill in defensively. Lallana, look to play box-to-box, dribble past players looking to link up play. Ghost in picking up scraps/second-balls. Adam, accurate deliveries look to make the midfield tick. Wingers you’ll need to put a shift in, defensively track back, look to help out the FB’s doubling up in numbers. When attacking don’t be afraid to take on players down by-line, plenty of wide-play/crosses. Frei make yourself a nuisance closing down from the front. Use your intelligence making space.
Subs: Craig Gordon, Danny Fox, Steven Davis, Kenwyne Jones, Florent Malouda, Jos Hooiveld, Mahamadou Diarra
On 64 Mins: Danny Fox will replace Wayne Bridge. Fresher legs on the pitch, similar role staying close to wingers. Look to help out in support on counter attacks.
On 70 Mins: Florent Malouda for Mathew Phillips. Big game experience. Look to take on players mixing it up coming inside or hugging the touchline. Don’t be afraid to shoot from distance.
On 72 Mins: Kenwyne Jones will replace Frei. Look to bully their defenders, compete for every aerial ball. Look to flick on passes or control to link up wide play. Bullet headers if you get on the end of a cross.

Fulham vs. Stoke
- Spoiler:
- Schwarzer
Riether – Zapata – Kaboul – Riise
Dembele – Montolivo – Lucas – Dempsey
Berbatov -- Defoe
Team Talk:
Right lads, we need to bounce back after the savagery, we received, last week. Stoke, in the past weeks, have experimented and it hasn’t prevailed. So this week I reckon they’ll go back to basics. I want us to do the same and keep it simple, play direct up to our forwards and take your chances.
Defending Instructions:
* Play a deep-line to cope with their pace down their wings
* Kaboul & Zapata, keep it simple. Be dominant, strong and win your tackles, against their forwards.
* Lucas, play the holding role and support our defence and fill any gaps.
* Riether & Riise alternate your runs; show commitment in getting back if caught out of position.
Attacking Instructions:
* Lots of one – two passes with, we’ll have to create our own space as Stoke are well drilled and will look to soak up pressure.
* Montolivo be our creative point tonight. Look for the player in space.
* Dembele & Dempsey dominate the wings, look to get at their full backs and get crosses into our front men.
* Berbatov, be our target man, look to receive the ball at your feet.
* Defoe, play on the shoulder of their defensive line.
Subs: If winning after 60 minutes. Bring on Michu for Defoe and go 4-5-1. Dominate the midfield.

Look to put Brom to the sword today, attack early with creative and probing threats and never give them room to threaten .
Southampton v Arsenal
- Spoiler:
Southampton
Formation: 4-5-1

------------ Alex Song --- Yann M'vila -----------
--------------------- Wilshere ---------------------

-----------------------------------------------------
----------------- Robin Van Persie ---------------
Subs:- Mertesacker,Santos,Chamberlain,Giroud

Fulham v Stoke
- Spoiler:
FulhamSchwarzer
Stoke4-4-2

-------------------Ruddy------------------
----------Martin---Bennett---Distin--------

----------Howson---Biglia---Allen------------
------------------Hoolahan-----------------
------------------Holt----------------------
Tactics: Boys we face a tough challenge today so what we are going to do is be tight in defence, and look to dominate in midfield.
Aston Villa v Liverpool

Aston Villa
Formation: 4-3-3
Liverpool
----------------------Reina----------------------
--Van Der Wiel----Skrtl-----Hangeland----Schmelzer--
-------------------Cabaye--Sandro----------------------
--Johnson--------------Suarez---------------Isco--------
-------------------------Rossi-----------------------------
Subs:

Subs:

Tactics:
- Have faith in our game plan and the result will come.
- Set the tone at the back - Cahill and Terry to keep it simple, staying tight on their man and don't allow sneaky touches around the area.
- Ivanovic and Cole have a licence to go forward, particuarly on counter attacks. Choose the right time. In defence, stay tight on wingers and full backs - don't let them get down the byline easily and get in crosses.
- Great balance in the midfield three. Essien to gobble up balls like a hungry hippo and stifle Newcastle's attacks. Carrick to keep possesion and allow us to play. Be patient with it.
- Carrick and Essien to attack where appropriate and pull Newcastle's defenders out of position. Flood the gaps.
- Lampard to play a free role and occupy the space between their defence and midfield, finding gaps to slot into. Work his socks off to track back where neccesary.
- Look to hit Newcastle on the counter when some of their defenders may be up field - particularly when defending their corners.
- Wingers to stay narrower than usual, becoming a front 3 in attack. The front three can interchange making it hard for the Newcastle's defenders to pick them up.
- Torres to play off the shoulder and look to get in behind, picking up balls from the wingers and Lampard.
- SO much quality on the bench, we can adjust our game plan accordingly. If we're winning we'll keep pressing, keep disrupting. If we're down, we'll bring on our attackers and try and spread Newcastle. Gaps will appear with their tired legs.

Midfield

Put on a show for them
COME ON LADS!!!
