I wouldn't have JSD and Ashton in the same back 3. Need Cueto in their to balance it out

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Care really maturing. I would have the Scottish scrum halfs in this order if all fit and on form
1 Blair
2 Lawson
3 cussiter
The lions will be up against genia

Never really seen JSD miss a tackle. He is surprisingly big and strong. That's how he offloads so much.
He kicks well also.
Think him and ashton would work. Fodens kicking is inproving

Out of Interest has anyone seen any news on where JOC will be playing next year. He seemed to have the pick of any Oz club

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
I don't think the Jocks see it that way Matt. Blair has been awful and Lawson average. Cusiter is Scotland captain and their best scrum half by a mile. Genia is massivley over hyped he's just a basics scrum half alot like Cusiter. I'd take Youngs over Genia any time.
Reds seem fav Steve, JOC wants to play 12 and sees a partnership with Cooper as the way forward. Best mates I think.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Most pundits agree that genia is best in the world. Can do it all. Interestingly he can bench press more than anyone else in Australian team.
Bit of a freak apparently. Kicks passes and runs brilliantly and can defend. Nit really anymore he can do

I think he's over hyped, I'd have Youngs, Parra and FdP over him myself, think Cooper makes him look better than he actually is.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Yeh that's my reading on it. They are good mates and Reds are the best team atm. Could be very good for Aus rugby.
I would take Genia over Youngs every time I think. Seems to be so much better when it comes to game organisation which I would say is probably Youngs biggest weakness. Youngs is still our best 9 and am glad that he is getting this dip in form out his system before the WC.
Care is getting better and will go to NZ as 2nd choice. A big game from Wigglesworth in the AP final could see him move into pole position for the 3rd SH spot.
between him, Dickson, Simpson and Hogdson for the 3rd scrum half. I would go with Dickson although wouldn't mind him being my 9 during the WC in this game.

I'd go Simpson Steve. Think Wiggles and Dickson are alot better scrum halfs but Simpson from the bench could be scary.

Genia is class.
For me Pienaar has been the best 9 this year, not just cos i have him in this game, but he's been awesome.
Care has been great recently, but I'd still take the youngs/flood combo and have care and wilko as impact subs

I don't like Banahan in the centre. Not got the hands or the intelligence to play there at the top level.
Reckon CH may get a go at FH for 40 mins at least.

Twelvetrees won't get a call I don't think. Saxons is the place for him.
I see the centres probably being Banahan and Barritt. That is not a combo that I'm a fan of. Used to love Barritt but gone of him a bit

I'm not a huge Barritt fan either, especially not in a partnership with Banahan. Banahan needs a creative 12. Allen could do ok.

I think Barritt is more in a Hape mould and seems to above Allen in pecking order. Not sure Banahan outside him would be great though.

Don't think they fancy Barrit. Good ap player but not quick enough for international rugby and not very creative.
Sarries midfield let's them down attacking wise.
Barrit an excellent defender

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
I think he's pretty similar to Hape Matt. Don't think Sarries is a great team for him as they play awful rugby. I think he's one of those players who'd work at Int level, looked very comftable against NZM.
Allen is the bloke I think MJ doesn't fancy with 36 and Barritt seemingly infront of him on recent selections.

8. Narraway

Trinder???
Most gloucester fans rate him but he is so far away from international rugby it is untrue.
5th choice centre. That said at least he offers some creativity. His defence is solid and can play wing also.
Complete lack of genuine 7s shows Johnsons thinking. He likes a big backrow and is convinced you do not need a genuine 7

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
If i was MJ i would feel inclined to name to start Gaskell at 6 and Fearns at 7 keeping with the Croft and Moody mould of a back row.
Marler is also same type of player as Sheridan so i reckon he's got the 1 shirt nailed down.
I'd go with
1.Joe Marler
2.David Paice
3.Paul Doran-Jones
4.Dave Attwood
5.Graham Kitchener
6.James Gaskell
7.Carl Fearns
8.Luke Narraway
9.Lee Dickson
10.Charlie Hodgson (c)
11.James Simpson-Daniel
12.Jordan Turner Hall
13.Matt Banahan
14.Ugo Monye
15.Mike Brown
Soon as everyone gets there budgets in i will announce your cash injections for the first transfer window which is June 1st.
The draft is open today so we are just waiting on prop to start it off.
