Tonga'uhia has been selected by Tonga
For some reason they dont pick Hala'ufia, similarly Sapolu doesnt get picked for Samoa.

have to agree with Matt. Reckon PDV,Gatland and Lievremount could all be gone post world cup. Lievremount is 50/50 france on their day can beat anyone just not sure Lievremount is the right man to lead them.

Think Wales are just struggling with injuries and lack of form. on there day they are a good side. lievremont and pdv deserve the sack, some shocking selections. cant wait for the world cup, tri-nations will be a good warm up.

stnick, just been asking a man in France on another thread about it and he says that Parisse is on the list of players on the way out at Stade, but it is believed that his most likely destination is back home to one of the Italian sides.

Stade are meant to be getting relegated to Div2 in the French leagues as they've been naughty boys on the salary cap - so expect a lot of their players leaving...Parisse could be true. Wasps are rumoured to be getting Haskell back if they are relegated.

Bad choice of clubs for Sackey and Contepomi to join though!

Been watching some Lions Dvd's and has got me thinking. The best Lions team from the last 3 tours. Harder than it sounds

1. Gethin Jenkins (2005)- Unreal player on that tour. was everywhere.
2. Keith Wood (2001) - Such a good hooker. Had everything.
3. Adam Jones (2009) - Sorted the scrum brilliantly.
4. Simon Shaw (2009) - 2nd test was the best i've ever seen an enforcer play.
5. Martin Johnson (2001) - Had a great tour. Although was a 4 he has to fit in.
6. Ryan Jones (2005) - Phenominal test series. Came out with a glowing reputation.
7. Richard Hill (2001) - Sensational player. Great form on this tour.
8. Scott Quinell (2001) - What Wales would do for him now!
9. Rob Howley (2001) - Played out of his skin after dissapointment on 1997.
10. Jonny Wilkinson (2001) - Nearing his very best at this stage.
11. Jason Robinson (2001) - Finishing masterclass throughout that tour.
12. Jamie Roberts (2009) - Just ahead of Henderson
13. Brian O'Driscoll (2001) - Best I've ever seen him play.
14. Tommy Bowe (2009) - Criminally under used in the test series.
15. Lee Byrne/Rob Kearney (2009) - both were truly phenominal!

Some tough calls. Mike Phillips (2009), Tom Croft (2009), Daffyd James (2001), Gareth Thomas (2005), Jamie Heaslip (2009) and Tom Smith (2001)

Cipriani wont be kicked out of the Rebels, Delves given him a glowing reference and said they want him there - rumours are he's suffering from depression big time and that's what causing him to do what he's doing.

Such a frustrating player, one game he looks world class and the next...

They want him to sign a behaviour agreement, he won't so they are unwilling to play him, fella is a waste of space.

Rumours where Bath lined him up and the players told the management they didn't want him at the club, says it all really.

I know this is really pedantic, but didn't Jenkins play lighted in the tests in 2005? If I'm right I don't think you can really include him at loosehead on that basis.

I'd have Cipriani back at Wasps in a blink of an eye - the guy has issues but a great manager would be able to sort him out and get the best out of him, and as an attacking threat I'd have him up there with Cooper - just needs to stop falling off tackles.

He will never be at Coopers level.
But he has the potential to be the best attacking English 10.

How old is Cipriani these days?. He really has to buckle down or will be a poor mans version of Gavin Henson who at least has achieved something.

Henson could/can tackle though!

No Pete Gethin started all 3 tests at LH. Julian White was the Tighthead for the tests.

My mistake Steven, I just had vague recollections of him playing tighthead on that tour, maybe it was in a midweek game or something.

Hoping for Craig Mitchell to stay injured or I might not have a TH!

Rodney (So'oialo) and Mils Muliaina have just signed contracts to play in Japan next season Pooly, so in answer to your question, yes he does still play. I'll let you know about Cairns Wink

Thorn, Mapusua, Muliana, Walder, Hewat, So'oialo all be playing there, and possibly more to join like Russouw. Maybe these players rating wont drop so much now the standard will be higher?
