Interesting what has happened to Pioli. When he left NE to go to KC he was built up to be some kind of front office wizard. Makes you wonder now just to what extent he was riding on Belichick's coat tails and just how much of a wizard Belichick is!!!

Anyway, I think KC have done well getting Reid. It's a good challenge for him also. A proper fresh start for him going somewhere that he can start a rebuild. Like others though, I thought he might take a year out a la Fisher and Shanahan but everyone's different and maybe throwing himself into his work is the best way for him to deal with all that has gone on in his family.

And there you have it. Wasn't entirely sure Kelly would translate to the NFL, but I'll be intriuged to see it.

So if that deal is indeed close, that leaves 5 spots left, which could go to 6 tomorrow when Rivera learns his fate, and 7 when the Jags hire a GM.

Broncos OC Mike McCoy set to interview with Bills and Cardinals on Saturday, then Bears and Iggles on Sunday.

Surely he has more important things to be doing on Saturday and Sunday. Like scouting the defences he might be facing the next week...

That's right moves to the NFL decides to use 100% the same playbook... Also Weeden ran spread offense at OSU, and Darron Thomas only ran for 200 yards in 2011.

Doug Marrone will leave Syracuse for the HC job with Buffalo. Expect a tonne of rumours regarding Buffalo taking Ryan Nassib in the 1st/2nd round (I imagine he would be there in the second but they may wish to trade up to the beginning of the second, if they want him).
