Bradshaw!!!!!!! NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
My first season was his rookie year. I'm quite upset and disappointed.
Looks like Wilson and Brown will be the new Bradshaw and Jacobs.

Re: Ongoing NFL discussion thread
Wilson is very different to Bradhaw , I also don't think Brown is a bruiser like Jacobs, trade for LeGarette Blount would be an option, a 7th or 6th would get him.

I was going for more of the little and large combination rather than dead on comparisons. I imagine, as things stand, Wilson will be the starter and Brown the 3rd down and goal line back.
Re: Ongoing NFL discussion thread
Giants have cleared just under 14m in the past 2 days and lie 3m under the cap. Thats why they're gone ultimately. Need to pay Nicks and sign some rookies.

I'm goign to trainign camp anyway GSC, fingers crossed for a press pass. I'm just saying that's how much Bliunt would be going for if they trade him, Schiano doesn't rate the guy for some reason. He can be useful in certain scenarios, Bucs need a reliable guy to split carries or sub in for Dougie and the coaches don't seem to think Blount is the guy.

Josh Freeman it is, surprised how much he looks like him, the photoshoot was done during the Bucs' 4 game losing streak which has seen Freeman come in for some heat from Bucs fans, which as usual is over the top.
Guy has a fair bit of work to do in the offseason though. He is quite like Flacco though in all honesty, the Bucs offense is kind of similar to it truth be told, they just need a speedster like Jacoby Jones and some better TEs

POST 2000
I think finding something worth saying for such a glorious milestone is practically impossible.
Something outlandish...
Joe Flacco is Elite...
Tim Tebow is an NFL QB...
Ndamukong Suh loves small kittens...
Titus Young was the Lions best receiver...
The Seahawks beat the Packers...
David Akers is straight down the middle...
Adrian Peterson is human...
Antlers heel Ravens...
Take your pick

Re: Ongoing NFL discussion thread
let me explain, when the ball up up in the air MD Jennings did catch it, 100%, however while in midair the ball cant be caught, when coming down golden ate got simutainous possesion of the ball, when they landed tate and Jennings both have simutainious pssesion, that is where a catch is made where the body or 2 feet are in the field of play, so at thta point it is a simutainious catch with both players in possesion, simutainious catch goes to the the reciever who wa stae, thereby through proper explaination and logc it is a 100% TD Seahawks

Re: Ongoing NFL discussion thread
It's one of those total BS rules that robbed the Lions against the Bears the other year.
Also, if Ate was the up in the air with Jennings how did Tate muscle in? And, how did Stae end up with the simultaneous possession with Jennings? Hmmm.

Re: Ongoing NFL discussion thread
No cherries, that isn't the rule. Jennings had control long before Tate, meanin that it is not simultaneous. Jennings then maintains control to the ground. Therefore it is clearly an INT, not simultaneous possession.

Re: Ongoing NFL discussion thread
If the simultaneous catch rule goes in favour if the receiver than it is similar. The call is to the letter of the law but in reality is total BS.
Re: Ongoing NFL discussion thread
It wasn't simultaneous which is the kicker. Jennings has control while Tate has 1 hand on it. By rule it's not simultaneous, it's Jennings ball

i 1 handed catch is still a catch, simutainious, they had equal control, but tate is more betetr so he can do it with 1 hand

Re: Ongoing NFL discussion thread
Yeah, now you're just reaching. Since Jennings clearly has possession, by rule it's an INT. hence the outrage from everybody not Seahawks fans post game.

I'm not arguing about the call. I'm on your side. It's crap. But I was just mentioning if the simultaneous rule favours receivers in an actual simultaneous catch than it's BS. Should be a repeat of down ruling.
Re: Ongoing NFL discussion thread
Yeah, I kinda agree but I guess a standard catch is less harming than an INT.

Not entirely sure what to make of Bill Davis. Record in SF and ARI isn't exactly stellar, but it must be said he wasn't blessed with talent in either area. Can't ask for a much better grounding than working for Capers, LeBeau and Mike Nolan either.

Time for some proper purging of the Salary cap...
The Pittsburgh Steelers have 10 players currently accounting for a staggering $100.33 million of their 2013 cap room.

Thats what happens when you keep renegotiating to get under the cap. Steelers have needed to restock for a while, the likes of Polamalu neither healthy or productive anymore.

Wonder how many more teams will hire Rob Ryan as DC based on his last name being Ryan and he runs ultra complex schemes that confuse his own defense.

Jeremiah used to be a scout for 3 teams.
Jarvis Jones is interesting, think Bradley and Babich will revert to more a traditional Tampa-2 in Jacksonville though. Floyd at 3 seems to be a ill look smart of he rises pick. Can't see Detroit burning 2 1st rounders on tackles in a row, with Milliner and pass rushers there.
