"There is no question we spent a considerable amount of time and effort looking at who we thought were the best collegiate candidates for our head coaching job. We did so knowing that there was a remote chance that these coaches would leave their current posts.

"We understood that going into the process, but we wanted to leave no stone unturned while trying to find the best head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles. We have no regrets about the effort we made in that direction and we will continue to proceed as planned in our search."

Yep, agreed. Bobby Petrino is another that springs to mind. Would have been a big mistake I reckon for Philly to have gone down this road.

Where next for the Eagles? Saw NFL.com's story about Brian Billick - surely that one was just a spot of due dilligence?? Can't imagine it was much more than a "Hey Brian, you've been around a bit and know a lot of people, who do you think we should have as our next head coach???".

Btw if u hire Bradley enjoy giving up leads under 2 mins, he DEFENSE excels at that, not bitter,Must have screwed up under 2 mins by bringing terrible coverages 4 times this year

I'd say given he had the #1 scoring D, that that would be on the offense not scoring enough.

And that playoff loss was def on the offense.

In any case I want my HC to have personality and leadership before being some great coordinator. Bradley has that.

yes he has the number 1 rated defense scoring but he brings really soft coverage when defending leads late, he abandons the physical approach we have been playing all game and brings soft coverage which really isnt our strength, e.g Detroit, Chicago Miami.
I mean seriously we let Ryan Tannehill march downfield on us!!!

bradley is a good corodinator but i think the size and physicality of the seattle corners is a major part of his gameplan and help him out alot, and cover up some of his weaknesses,
