Its becoming very likely that Oakland moves and OTs go 1,2,3. Which puts the Eagles in an interesting spot. Which likely results in Star I imagine

Also, I'm imposing a rule that there will be nobody ruining everyone's fun tonight by announcing picks from Twitter.
If you do it, you're out of the chat box.

As funny as that was, I still won't allow it. The suspense of the commish announcing it is far better.

Yeah I'm off twitter tonight, don't want it spoiling it!
Is Sky showing NFL Network's coverage of the picks, with it's own studio stuff?

I've just read that we could be looking to trade down with the Jets who are looking at Dee Milliner but are doubtful he'll be available at 9, Jets would still have the number 13 pick in the first which they got as part of the Revis trade and Oakland would get the 9 and come in in the second round with the 39th pick

He was possibly the top WR for a long time. It will be interesting to see how much his stock has suffered or whether teams still rank him high. I think it will be the later.Olly wrote:Pats seem keen on Keenan Allen at 29

You can't believe anything you read right now and Idzik has hinted that he wants to trade down. I would be very upset if we traded up for anyone.

I like it from the Pats side, as I think they'll trade out of the first for certain. Whether the Bills will take a TE, I'm not sure, Chandler came on fairly strong for them last year, and they need O-line help imo

You know what, I thought I'd changed that from Ertz I just needed to make somebody trade with the Pats and thought if they're adding a QB at #8 they'd willingly spend picks to move up and grab him some weapons to go with Johnson, Buffalo had the 10th best O-line may have lost Levitre but it's not where they go in the second.Olly wrote:I like it from the Pats side, as I think they'll trade out of the first for certain. A lot of NFL execs think DJ Hayden is the Raiders guy regardless of whether they can get out of 3.

It is being suggested that four QBs could go in the 1st round tonight. Ryan Nassib, Geno Smith, EJ Manuel and Matt Barkley. Although there is the possibility that one or two of them could be teams trading into the bottom of the 1st round.

Don't wanna be that guy but I hope I get some compensation for all the bums watching a service, that I pay for, for free tonight.
Is the sort of thing you can find on NFLUK whenever they give a freebie for a few days.

Re: NFL Draft 2013 discussion
Must admit, as much as I wouldn't change a thing about the RGIII trade, I'm feeling a bit left out of all the draft stuff this year with Redskins not having a 1st round pick. Not a bad year though to not have a 1st rounder and I'm so glad we got our QB last year rather than looking through the damaged goods bin to try and find one amongst this year's lot.

Apparently Ryan Mallet is being banded about as a possibly draft day trade target. The Browns have reportedly 'no interest' though.Olly wrote:I hope for Pats sake, 4 QB's go in the 1st round tonight!
Will leave some better talent for later

Can't see Mallet being traded, or commanding anything too much really.
Not seen a lot of him, but what I have seen, he still needs a lot of work

As long as they aren't drafted by the Browns I'll be happy.crazy_dave23 wrote:I really hope I only see one QB drafted this evening... i imagine i'll be wrong!

Re: NFL Draft 2013 discussion
Just finishing my mock draft, should be up soon.
What we think we know (maybe)
Eric Fisher, Luke Joeckel and Lane Johnson will be gone in the top 4 picks, to which teams???
It's looking like if you don't have Eric Fisher #1 to the Chiefs you've got it wrong.
Geno Smith and Ryan Nasib in the 1st round, possibly top 10.
Shariff Floyd to go later than most expect, even though I like him this wouldn't surprise me. Reading Bob McGinn's articles I posted in the Draft Prospects thread it didn't sound like scouts were really sold on him, lots of questions.

Don't think I'm going to be around for the draft tonight, leaving home at 5.30am for a bloody audit
In hindsight I should have booked Friday off!
Enjoy it guys, if there's any chance Austin makes it to San Francisco I will be a very happy 49er

Rumors are 49ers are looking to draft into the Top 15 to improve the defence, by which I assume a safety!
Unlucky Bambam, enjoy audit!!!

Yeah I wouldn't be displeased if we got Vaccaro either tbh! If the 49ers stay at 31 I might watch the very end of the draft first thing

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Time to change this: Over past 9 years, Raiders are only NFL that has not drafted a Pro-Bowl player in first round.
Well that explains a lot

I have seen the them linked with Kenny Vaccaro and Sheldon Richardson if they move up. Would be ok moving up for Vaccaro otherwise they may as well stay put.Olly wrote:Rumors are 49ers are looking to draft into the Top 15 to improve the defence, by which I assume a safety!

New England Patriots @Patriots
The trade: Patriots acquire pick 52 (2nd rd), 83 (3rd rd), 102 (4th rd) and 229 (7th rd) from MIN in exchange for 29 (1st rd)
I'm very happy with the haul we got there. Wouldn't be shocked if we traded up tomorrow

Did Dallas really just move from 18 to 31 in the 1st in exchange for a 3rd rounder?? Way to go Jerry!!

Look like the era of broship continues between the Eagles and Pats. Chip successfully bluffing Miami and Buffalo up the board.
Love the Lane Johnson pick. Herremans goes back to guard, Johnson slots in at RT, Peters and Kelce back healthy and its 100x better than last year.

And I haven't a clue what the Cowboys are doing, beyond their OL is terrible.
