One of the things that Moses is fantastic at is running at players and taking people on. He is a fantastic talent.

Not disputing he is a powerful dribbler but I don't think he can be called fantastic as when it comes to actually kicking the ball he isn't great.

An example of what he is capable of is a goal against Leeds in the Capital One cup in the season just finished. He can strike the ball that's for sure.

Mark Hughes has done very little in his managerial career. Was there no one better that Stoke could have hired?

This.

Admittedly he did an alright job for Blackburn and Wales though. But Fulham, QPR and Man City he didn't do very well at all.

I think he done really well at Blackburn & good at Fulham, it's when he's had a lot of money to spend where he's failed. Stoke could be a good fit for him.

Mark Hughes has just beaten his own standards of woefulness. He hasn't even started, but one fan wants him out already.

Got to laugh at Suarez, quotes attributed to him blaming the uk media for his woes.

Good player but a cretin and an idiot.

All confirmed.

Fair play to him though, we have seen managers prove us wrong. When Di Canio got the job at Sunderland people completely wrote them off for relegation and look he has become a Sunderland legend for that 3-0 win at Newcastle.

I would of rather seen Poyet or Martinez take the Stoke job personally to give them a new style of play. I doubt Hughes will bring that.

But i stick by my word, can't see them doing very well this season.

I think it's weird how strongly negative the reaction to his appointment has been. He's hardly an awful manager, he was poor at QPR but Redknapp was arguably worse and yet his reputation seems to have been kept in tact, Hughes didn't do excellently at City either, but that job and the Stoke job aren't really comparable.

When you look at his time at Blackburn and Fulham, two clubs that do compare to Stoke, he has done fairly well. As long as Stoke don't let him spend a lot of money I think he'll be fairly successful. I can see him playing slightly better football than Pulis, not tika-taka, but a little less violent.

Think there's one in the main football bit Gazzy.

Hughes is being overly criticised. Seems Harry and Fernandes PR attacks on him have worked.

People need to realize Harry Redknapp is an amazing manager and should be the England manager, Hughes screwed QPR up and not even Harry could keep them up due to the mess Hughes left them in.

As for Suarez, i really hope he stays, i want to see him bite Glenn Murray next year.

I dont particularly care if he stays or goes. I would be intrigued to see how Liverpool cope without him and I think hes a brat who doesnt deserve to be pandered to by a club that considers itself above these things. However, he does some things of pure class so if he could learn to control his attitude then he'd only add to the league. My overriding desire to see Liverpool weakened probably wins, they are still a side to me that could regress or progress and if its the former I would like the chance to move forward whilst they go back and finally win a damn game at Anfield

I like Stoke's chairman, makes it seem like a methodical, thought out appointment. Whether it works out that way, who knows.

Harsh to judge Hughes purely on QPR, let's be fair, he had a stinker, but at the same time, before that he'd done a sound job everywhere else. Coates will be a lot more stringent than Fernandes, you'd feel, so perhaps his signings might be of better quality.

Good decision that he's going. He can roll around with, dive with & cheat with all the other embarrassing play-acting idiots in La Liga next season

David Villa would be a horrible replacement. He's nowhere near the standard he was a couple of years ago and has not fully recovered or regained any kind of form since his last broken leg. Benteke for £20m.....Villa would find that hard to reject but then Bent is supposedly being sold, so it's a risky situation for them.

Our win ratio is better without him based on the 2011-2012 season, where he played well but didn't score as much. If it wasn't for him last season, we would've finished way below 7th.

While we coped well without him against Newcastle, Fulham & QPR, it's games like the Everton one were we need that bit of magic he can provide to win a game.

This will be a massive loss and I feel a little let down by him.

As always, Luis Suarez never fails to show just how much of a bell end he can be. Its not really the British media's fault Luis, nobody pushed you to bite Ivanovic. Then turning his back on the club that went further than it should've done to support him.

Fantastic player but complete and utter Meat trombone soloist.
