Foreign Transfer Page
First topic message reminder :
As a general rule, if you want a world class player (and by world class I mean a player that I consider to be one of the 3 best in the world in his position at the moment), you will be looking at between £20-25 million.
For a top international with over 30 caps, £17-22 million, and an international with less than 30 caps £15-20 million. There may be some exceptions to this in the case of certain players, but this will be the general rule.
There will be an upper limit of £10 million for uncapped academy aged players unless two or more managers want the player and enter into a bidding war in which case there is no upper limit.
Bids for uncapped players who are over academy age limits will be judged on their own individual merits.

Re: Foreign Transfer Page
I am going by what SJE told me during the week, where if the player hasnt been released from a club then he will have to count as a foreign player signing. Don't shoot the messenger!!!

Re: Foreign Transfer Page
My understanding was that the EQ abroad rule was removed with the new draft of rules that came in this season so he counts as a foreign

No probs mate, I must have misses that joining late.
Looks a decent option for somebody with a bid, bit unfit but strong scrummager

My opinion on Rooney is that he would, like Morgan, be against the spirit of the game if I allowed him as an EQ transfer.
To clarify my reasons, he was born in Australia to English parents, and holds an English passport. He followed the £££ to France and Toulon, and when he was going to sign for Worcester he said he would love to play for England. He has then signed for the Rebels and has gone back to Aus and said he would love to play for the Wallabies. If he has a great Super 15 and gets called up by Australia, then it would be like giving you another foreign transfer.
The EQ abroad thing initially came in to enable managers to bring back proper Englishmen abroad, like Steve Thompson, Magnus Lund, Ollie Smith, Ollie Phillips etc, not to snap up dual qualifieds who have not yet been capped, that may go on to play for another country.

Re: Foreign Transfer Page
Somebody is bored!
Not really relevant to Woolley though, who is English and playing in England. He was eligible for Wales due to going to uni there but was Quins academy and now at Wasps. He's English through and through.
Good signing but I have no foreign bids left.

And Prop you now get a foreign transfer bid - if I were you I'd go for Scott Higginbottom, the Aussie and probably the best no6 still available in the game, would link well with McCalman too. Reckon you could get him for around £19-21m too.

The clues in your original quote Driver:
Driver wrote:Rules wrote:Foreign
To make a foreign transfer (i.e. from any club outside of the AP, regardless of whether the player is English) a bid should be made on the Foreign Transfers Page, which will be considered by me against the posted guidelines for purchase prices before being accepted or rejected.

You know me, I've always liked a punt in this game. Could be spectacularly successful or could be £12 million down the drain.

Re: Foreign Transfer Page
Great try. Moala looks good at centre and wing also.
Cheslin Kolbe the stormers back will be a menace also if he learns to tackle. Great in currie cup. Young Auckland 10 was great in ITM and assume was good today although only seen highlights

Foreigns open from 9am on Monday. I'll be rejecting bids if your squads are over. Please have DOBs on academy players to make it easier for me

I'm having a few issues with DOB's.
They're young enough as in England U18 squad but cannot find anything!

Fair enough just put England u18s next to them don't mind the odd player but don't want to have to check every individual player!
