Foreign Transfers

First topic message reminder :

As a general rule, if you want a world class player (and by world class I mean a player that I consider to be one of the 3 best in the world in his position at the moment), you will be looking at between £20-25 million.

For a top international with over 30 caps, £17-22 million, and an international with less than 30 caps £15-20 million. There may be some exceptions to this in the case of certain players, but this will be the general rule.

There will be an upper limit of £10 million for uncapped academy aged players unless two or more managers want the player and enter into a bidding war in which case there is no upper limit.

Bids for uncapped players who are over academy age limits will be judged on their own individual merits.

I think the second is open ended..(I haven't used mine yet) and the 3rd will come in at some point.

I thought after everyone had had one, the window was opened and everyone had another two and could choose to use them now or save them if they wanted.

Wasn't it one in Jun, Jul, Aug but we brought July's forward?

Is it worth just doing the last one and letting clubs decide when they want to use it?

We bought Julys forward as it allowed players to bed in. the next forign is meant for RWC squads so people can see which position needs the most attention

you can keep it for the next window if you like steve but'd prefare to have it done by the end of july

Should we not just open up the other window and let people pick when they want to use that transfer? It seems quite obvious who will make up the majority of the main squads e.g. England, NZ, SA etc - so if people want to bid now and make the summer games a bit more fun then I think that would be good!

I think that makes sense Chris. We've avoided the big bidding wars sort of, gives a bit of managerial risk too which is fun

Is there a list of players that have been bought recently in this game at all? Just want to make sure my next targets are still available when I go for them!
