Foreign Transfers

First topic message reminder :

As a general rule, if you want a world class player (and by world class I mean a player that I consider to be one of the 3 best in the world in his position at the moment), you will be looking at between £20-25 million.

For a top international with over 30 caps, £17-22 million, and an international with less than 30 caps £15-20 million. There may be some exceptions to this in the case of certain players, but this will be the general rule.

There will be an upper limit of £10 million for uncapped academy aged players unless two or more managers want the player and enter into a bidding war in which case there is no upper limit.

Bids for uncapped players who are over academy age limits will be judged on their own individual merits.

I was hoping this didn't have to be raised but it has now thanks to Matt!!! lol

This is my second bid that has carried over....I put the bid in Monday as foreigns where not supposed to be open till Friday for the 3rd bid.

In theory only managers that have only had one foreign can actually bid at the minute as foreigns weren't supposed to open till Friday and my Pretorius bid would have been ok.

Sorry Matt but you've had your 2 signings and I've only had one.

He can still bid for pretorious this window - It just means you have 2 bids this window

I do think that bids are open Pooly. you have had your chance. You can still have another bid but for me pretorius is open season

When I put the bid in Driver, foreigns where still in the second window. You've opened them early as they were supposed to be Friday......

Are we following any rules or just opening them whenever? I would have bidded earlier if this was the case.

Think I've been done over a little here as foreigns weren't supposed to be open.

I though it was one transfer a month. But the 2nd got pulled forward because we were all done so quick. We were then allowed to use that 2nd one whenever we wated so we could wait till world cup call ups. Only pooly and Steve have transfers left over.

Bit of a raw deal for Pooly to be honest especially since the window shouldnt be open till friday. He did get his bid in before the new window was opened
