iirc Knowshon Moreno (Den) was mentioned on nfl.com as a decent pick up

Re: Fantasy Football Q&A
I'd go for Bell and Jackson myself. Both are going to get some touches (esp Jackson) and Bell in particular will get goal line work so could have some nice big games like in week 1.The Mangler US_UK wrote:Bloody hell -- Andre Brown out with a broken leg and now Vereen out with a broken wrist. I've got Trent Richardson (who did not much of anything Week 1) and Ben Tate, who will only be valuable if my Arian Foster voodoo doll actually works. I've gone to the scrapheap to see what I can find. How would you rate these RBs for pickup? Which one would you try to pick up?
Joique Bell (Det), Pierre Thomas (NO), Daniel Thomas (Mia), Kendell Hunter (SF), LeGarrette Blount (NE), Fred Jackson (Buf). Brandon Jacobs, Knowshon Moreno (Den)?

Fred Jackson will be a very good pick when Spiller gets inevitably injured.

For me, should I have Hartline or Fred Jackson at flex?
Also, I need one flex from DeAngelo Williams, Rueben Randle and DeAndre Hopkins.

Celek(SD) or Owen Daniels(TEN) at TE? Daniels put up some good numbers vs. San Diego, that should bode well for Celek?

Re: Fantasy Football Q&A
I would pick up Jacobs, Moreno and Jackson if possible maybe in that order or reverse order.
I'm trying to work out who to have as my flex starter, currently got Spiller and Trent Richardson as my starting RBs and havee a choice of Gio Bernard, Ahmand Bradshaw, David Wilson and Kenbrell Thompkins as my options at flex.
Also would you go David Wilson or Daryl Richardson at RB in my other team (would have both but never benching AP and Jordy Nelson, Victor Cruz and Wes Welker are currently entrenched as my 2 WRs and my flex)

Sanu, Jacobs, Blount and Gio Bernard.Pr4wn wrote:Who are your alternatives?
Possibly could go with Bernard? Could play Dobson instead of Sanu at WR2.
Have drafted a core few players in most drafts I had.

Re: Fantasy Football Q&A
Thompkins should see more of the ball if Amendola and Vereen are out for the Patriots but I also wouldn't be surprised to see Gio Bernard get an increased carry load.cabowers wrote:I would pick up Jacobs, Moreno and Jackson if possible maybe in that order or reverse order.

Question is do the Giants trust him? I think they will give him chances again this week. I would stick with him for now. It maybe worth picking up Jacobs if he is available.Forward Pass wrote:I have him in 3 leagues should I trust D.Wilson this week ?

Judging by the fact he is all they have at RB I am keeping him in. Brandon Jacobs may steal a few touches near the endzone though.Forward Pass wrote:I have him in 3 leagues should I trust D.Wilson this week ?

Agree. If Andre Brown had been fit it maybe different...
Guarantee the week you bench Wilson is the week he 'breaks out'.

Hartline and DeAngelo. Wait another week and see what happens with Jackson/Spiller. Williams did alright against the Seahawks. Clear no1 back, can't pass on that imo.

Hartline will get you decent points for yardage but doesnt get many TD'S ,F.J is still 2nb RB behind Spiller ,so Hartline for this week at least
DeAngelo for next couple of weeks ,had a decent outing against a tough D last week

An early one for week 3. Do I stick with Dobson in a few leagues? Ok he dropped a few put he was getting plenty of ball.

Yeah stick with Dobson, Brady has to throw to somebody and Dobson will get the targets. Only time will tell if he's worth it but for now he's worth a roster spot for potential upside.mikeygnfl wrote:An early one for week 3. Do I stick with Dobson in a few leagues? Re: Fantasy Football Q&A
Depends who the alternative is. Gronk + Amendola coming back will mean a lot less targets. Could be handy for a few weeks or if he breaks out (which I seriously doubt). I drafted him in the last round of one league and I've traded him for Stephen Hill.

Russell Wilson(SF) or Cutler(MIN)? Leaning towards Cutler atm but Wilson has performed very well vs. the 49ers in the past, tough decision.

Go Cutler, Bears offence is built on same principles as Lions (big armed QB, dominant receiver, dual threat RB etc) and we saw how badly Detroit tore up the Vikings defence last week.
Ps don't trade Bull Cutler

Need 3 RBs from Rice, Gore, Johnson, Forte and Lacy. Had the first three selected last week but Forte and Lacy have better match ups this week. Thinking of dropping Gore and Johnson.

Pierre Thomas will likely get more carries than any of the others, but Hunter gets some use in the passing game and Moreno will gets some spells. So far the others have been bit players.

Re: Fantasy Football Q&A
My debut question seeing as I went 1-3 in my leagues last weekend...
Starting AJ Green (GB) for sure but...
1 WR + Flex from
Wes Welker (OAK)
Jordy Nelson (@CIN)
Vincent Jackson (@NE)
I was going to leave out VJax due to the fact Tampa's pass game is struggling... but he still gets like 75% of their yards and if Tampa gets a pass TD it will almost certainly be VJax!

I know Rodgers had a rough time last week but I would risk him this week out of the two

Re: Fantasy Football Q&A
Umming and ahhing over this weeks line up.
RB - Lynch is a lock but I have Bradshaw still in (Richardson takes a week to get in step?), but should I swap in Ellington (stock rising) or Snelling?
WR - Fitz is hurting, and only put 33 yds on the board last week. Bench him for Brown or Hartline?

Re: Fantasy Football Q&A
Dear God,
thank you for facilitating the Richardson trade to Indy. My team rejoices! That's all.
Have to see how much of the workload he gets this week.
I'm having the same Fitz quandary. He says he'll play, but he played last week and did nothing before his hammy tightened up.

Edelman(TB), Mike Wallace(if fit)(ATL), Decker(OAK), Sanders(CHI), G.Tate(JAX), B.Tate(@BAL) for 1 WR and 1 flex?
They all seem to get similar points week to week tbh

What a choice. Well, history suggests Eli is going to appear sooner or later.
How about between Moss and Jeffery for my WR2? I also have Streater but he's more of a flex guy I reckon.

Jeffrey!
Yeah I guess but the question is will he turn up against KC?
Or am I better off with starting Ponder who faces Pitts!
Oh and Jennings or Sidney Rice?

Re: Fantasy Football Q&A
I've literally just read an article of Ponder saying he is carrying an injury and he may not make it against the Steelers. Defensively the Steelers have been pretty good too.
So have the Chiefs, but I'd back Eli to start.
I'd also take Rice personally.

Eli has got a higher points ceiling than Ponder. He could easily have a 4-5 TD with Cruz and Nicks. Ponder does have that in him.
