Sorry Hampo but it's embarrassing to suggest that Cabaye goal was hit and hope otherwise every single goal as a degree of luck to it.

Sunderland in big trouble, while Ozil add to Arsenal's lead. The Gunners aren't going away. I can't wait for their games in November, real test of their ambitions.

Rodgers didnt adjust a thing to play against 10 men. Wingbacks can stretch a game, but not as well as actual wingers and it left too many back. Bet Pardew was devastated to see that Liverpool's extra man was sitting back with Remy.

Sunderland are starting to be cut adrift at the bottom - 6 points off safety.

Aaron Ramsey has scored...again!
And Southampton get a late leveller! Kick in the teeth for Moyes, to say the least.

Why feel sorry for Moyes? He's a two faced weasel and revealed his true self during the pursuit of Fellaini and Baines.

Stoke-WBA last on MOTD then.
Southampton still in the top 4 (although a Citeh win would push them down to 5th), and United closer to relegation than the title.
Arsenal and Chelsea comfortable. Liverpool frustrated. Everton quietly pleased. Sunderland very concerned.

Arsenal need 1-2 injuries and they will drop from the top 4. They have to have the least depth from the big clubs.

In what respect? He wanted two players but wanted to get them for as much value as he could? How very dare he?! Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
We played alright, Southampton are very good and really we missed 2 great chances to go 2-0 up.
Moyes then makes 3 changes in 10 minutes, changes players round and formation - we concede ground and then a goal.
He just doesn't have a clue.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
I actually think even if Arsenal lost two players, top 4 is pretty easy for them. Spurs/Southampton/Liverpool/Everton....all not good enough to challenge. Arsenal are in great shape but I still won't truly believe in them until after the November 10th or around that week, when the real fixtures come around.

He did to Martinez what Man City did to him and at the time he called them disgusting for not leaving Lescott alone whilst City said do the best for he player and let him go. He did the exact same thing that he claims to hate so much.Dolphin Ziggler wrote:In what respect? He wanted two players but wanted to get them for as much value as he could? How very dare he?! Except I'm pretty sure there was more open dialogue between Kenwright and Moyes in this one.CFCNick wrote:He did to Martinez what Man City did to him and at the time he called them disgusting for not leaving Lescott alone whilst City said do the best for he player and let him go. you mean the team that hasn't dropped out of the top 4 for 18 years:doh: and has 3 [extra] 40 m plus midfielders that were either recovering from injury/injured or not there last year!!CFCNick wrote:Arsenal need 1-2 injuries and they will drop from the top 4. Arsenal do not have three £40m midfielders. I didn't mean they'd finish out of the top 4 just that they'll drop out whilst they have injuries.

Just don't understand moyes changes, nani off who was playing well for giggs, who can't play wide anymore.
Then welbeck for fellani who was a passenger the whole game and 3 positional changes.
5 mins later smalling for Rooney, change of formation and positions to cover lamberts height- which jones and Evans were doing anyway.
If you're worried about height why take fellani off? Why give them the initiative and allow them to win more set pieces by taking a striker off.

wilshire was injured all last year , ozil wasn't there and ramsey wasn't playing well at all and recovering from his injury spell. They certainly didn't drop out of the top 4 then.CFCNick wrote:Arsenal do not have three £40m midfielders. There even have high profile injuries at the moment and are still eating up this league so far!

Arsenal - just a different level today, best team by far in the league at the minute, not even close. That first goal they scored, oh my word.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
Were heading for one anyway from the looks of it - the only creativity we have is an 18 year old winger.
I just don't get moyes, we were set for a good win with a decent performance in spite of fellani playing and then he makes multiple personnel, positional and formation changes in 10 minutes. Madness.

Napoli are good but they are easily beatable. And they always beat Spuds.
Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
agree, they are probably the in form team at the moment but until the week and a half in november when they face liverpool (h), dortmund (a), man u (a) and then southampton (h), i wont truly believe in them. prove me wrong. I actually hope they do, playing great football currently.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
They will batter us, moyes will probably play 5 at the back with fellani shielding and welbeck up front with rvp and Rooney on the bench.
Don't base anyone's level on playing us this season - we are 8 points adrift with a goal difference of plus 1 after 8 games.

@chelseayouth: Jose Mourinho has subbed his left-back for a forward with the score 1-1 in each of his last two games. Won them both 3-1 and 4-1.

Arsenal's 1st goal:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BpdNvSgjUY
Excellent stuff. They have surely the best player in the league in Ozil and still have the likes of Walcott and Podolski to return.
However, I still fancy Chelsea for the title. Jose just knows how to get the wins regardless of form.

That's a very good goal . Both your chelsea ones are. But this one is the sexiest goal I can think off. The split second flicks and pass and one touch volley finish .wow

I think the fact there are 4 defenders in a 5x5 yard square makes the Arsenal goal look even better.

urine on chips time, wilshires trying to control that when he hits it back to giroud. Fluke goal really.

Both of them goals are things of beauty.
Wonder if any of Liverpool's 412 goals against Norwich in the last couple of years match up? I'll have a look later.
