Re: HC, Pool 2, Round 2: Glasgow Warriors v Exeter Chiefs
Although not on the same scale as Guscott and whilst I like him a lot as a pundit, Moore can be a spectacularly large cockchomper when talking about Rabo sides, because he simply doesn't have a clue.
But this is what the Heineken is about. The only way that people from other leagues give you respect and I actually pay any attention to your players is when you beat their teams and do it consistently. And Toonie & Co know this. This season is all about getting European respect and whilst I have a mahoosive amount of admiration for the Chiefs, we really should put away sides like this at home quite confidently if we want to make the step up and call ourselves part of the European elite.
Leinster put away the current Top 14 champions yesterday. We have beaten Leinster already this season. So how can I be happy with anything other than a Glasgow BP win today?

Re: HC, Pool 2, Round 2: Glasgow Warriors v Exeter Chiefs
Flanker, that is so unlike the Pitbull to focus on the English side and totally disregard all things Caledonian. He must have been in the huff because Angela is dropped and Pitbull likes finely buffed cuticles in a rugby player.
Remember; 3HW +1AW + 2BP = 16 -22 pts =Quarter final time.
So far we have one BP and are now playing at home. If we can't feel confident about beating the Chiefs at Scotstoun we shouldn't be in the HC at all.
12-13 could be our only wobbly area, assuming Ruaridh doesn't go all croissant on us, but we have Ritchie V and on the bench.
Totally Mesmeric and Mrs TM hope you have a jolly day out with the bears. To which end I have been inserting ten pound notes into the disc drive of my computer and they should be zooming through the ether by the magic of the interweb to Schiz's moblile telephonic device. This will allow him to buy pre- match cocktails for yourselves and ASBO and Ian Bru and anyone else who catches his eye. Have fun.
p.s. if he says the money hasn't arrived don't believe him, he's just after a Chinese wrist burn.

Exactly - we have to be looking to win this one well. I'm not saying we will, but this match, rather than than playing Toulon away, is a real test of where we are on our broader European journey.jimbopip wrote: If we can't feel confident about beating the Chiefs at Scotstoun we shouldn't be in the HC at all.
Ha ha, Jimbo, your generosity knows no bounds! I'll be sure to be thanking you, even as Schitz gets the pints in!jimbopip wrote:Totally Mesmeric and Mrs TM hope you have a jolly day out with the bears. I'll be offline during the match, so enjoy yourselves, you princes of Sandy Park, you kings of Scotstoun.

Jimbopip, you are too kind. On the train through to Weegeburgh now. Woke up late and my missus decided to wash her hair so will be the stadium just before KO... Hopefully beforehand so I can say hello with a mouthful of curry!

Steenson sees yellow. That might feck up the stream of kicked penalties for the Chiefs.
The annoying thing about this is that we don't know what the card was for. Does anyone know?
