First topic message reminder :

Am thinking of going in February for 3 or 4 nights, anyone got any advice about hotels, places to visit etc? Have had a virtual drive-round on google maps and it looks like a giant suburb.

Yeah but I bet you have learned how to shave using a knife, eat out for under £10 and discovered how nice cornflakes in lard are.

shaving with a knife was the first thing I learnt, eating out for under £10 is something we all should learn and cornflakes in lard is surprisingly nice.

You old romantic. West London to Donny. Not the most well trodden path.

@ Galted; Southerners intrigue me. I particularly like the cheeky way you all speak. "Cor blimey Mary Poppins, I need to chase the artful dodger for his Stoke on Trent. Strike a light guv'nor, these apples and pears are killing me."

How very quaint.

Galted's place of employment keeps a team of northerners in the basement - very handy for keeping down the rat population though the stench is unbearable. They're also useful for sending out for humus or smoothies* when the temperature drops below 5C but they do need to be muzzled when in public.

* a smoothie consists of pulped fruit

The stench of rats or the northerners?

Can I also ask why you are referring to yourself in the third person? Will you be doing this all day?

Vomit and semi-human waste so probably the northerners.

Galted did intend to refer to himself in the 3rd person all day but is already quite tired of it, makes him sound quite pompous as well. He did it for the most shallow of reasons, because Tino did it.
