Realistic Premier League
First topic message reminder :
Please be aware that this week's fixture are as follows:
Stoke City v West Bromwich
Sunderland v Norwich
Aston Villa v Fulham
Newcastle Utd v Crystal Palace
West Ham Utd v Cardiff City
Please PM Hero the following (if you are playing myself then PM Nando) before the end of Friday:
1. A easy to read team sheet eg:
2. A list of 7 substitutes eg: Lindegaard, Fabio, Jones, Young, Hernandez, Welbeck, Cleverley.
3. A list of 3 injuries (not applicable in week 1) eg: Giggs, Smalling, Valencia
4. Clear tactics in a bullet point format, we advise a minimum of five lines and a maximum of ten eg:
GK - Be vocal, communicate with your defensive line at all times, instruct them at set pieces and look to catch the ball rather than punch it, look to release early onto the flanks for counter attacks.
FBs - Keep any wingers on the outside, stay on your feet and block crosses, come forward down the flank when available
CBs - Man mark the strikers, keep goal side and time tackles
CMs - Look to pressurise early, spread the ball across the pitch and dictate the pace of the game
WGs - Work with our FBs to double up down the flanks and whip balls into the box, mix it up by coming inside and dribbling into the box, look to go down easy.
SS - Play between the midfield and the main striker, link up play, hang just outside the box when there's period of pressure and look for loose balls
ST - Hang on the shoulder of the deepest CB and look to drag them out of position, anticipate the ball and look to burst into the box for crosses or one-twos.
These shall then be posted on the board and results will be posted on Monday.

Re: Realistic Premier League
we cant cancel transfers done and start again, that makes no sense to me.
My thoughts =
1) Hero has put forward suggestions for ideas to make the league more interesting.
So my thought is = Put up a sticky poll with the suggestions given, all partaking managers vote on them to see if managers want them added.
2) The only other issue is whether Lubo joins. No reason to cancel what we have done so far and start again just because of this.

Right CBK didn't seem to understand simple sentences so I've banned him. I'm at work at present but between the panel agreed and explained last night I have faith in what they're doing.

All transfers will be looked at this evening in a similar manner to WWA Viper.
YI your transfer cannot be confirmed until it's been given the green light this evening.

The available teams are Hull and Cardiff. Unfortunately though it needs for both of you to join so we retain an even number of clubs. If you both want in then get your team lists up ASAP.

Re: Realistic Premier League
It seems like CBK purposely arrived here to recruit new members for his league on 'That Other Site' or at least remind and promote the other website. Countless times he brought it up reminding everybody that he runs leagues elsewhere, really it's been a train wreck. Although Trebs hasn't really said much, but how he was treated and isolated from the league was very disrespectful in my opinion.
With Hero taking the reigns and with a fair few jumping from the Euro Divison, there's seems to be plenty of interested & buzz in this league. I'm sure if there was a reboot, to at least a degree, you'd have no problems recruiting 12, 14 or even maybe 16 members.
Anyway I've said my piece, from an outsider's point of view monitoring the situation. You can completely discard everything that I've said...

It's interesting that you've brought his name up Nick, he's another from JA606, who basically came here to promote their website.NickisBHAFC wrote:Who is LRF?
