Realistic Premier League
First topic message reminder :
Please be aware that this week's fixture are as follows:
Stoke City v West Bromwich
Sunderland v Norwich
Aston Villa v Fulham
Newcastle Utd v Crystal Palace
West Ham Utd v Cardiff City
Please PM Hero the following (if you are playing myself then PM Nando) before the end of Friday:
1. A easy to read team sheet eg:
2. A list of 7 substitutes eg: Lindegaard, Fabio, Jones, Young, Hernandez, Welbeck, Cleverley.
3. A list of 3 injuries (not applicable in week 1) eg: Giggs, Smalling, Valencia
4. Clear tactics in a bullet point format, we advise a minimum of five lines and a maximum of ten eg:
GK - Be vocal, communicate with your defensive line at all times, instruct them at set pieces and look to catch the ball rather than punch it, look to release early onto the flanks for counter attacks.
FBs - Keep any wingers on the outside, stay on your feet and block crosses, come forward down the flank when available
CBs - Man mark the strikers, keep goal side and time tackles
CMs - Look to pressurise early, spread the ball across the pitch and dictate the pace of the game
WGs - Work with our FBs to double up down the flanks and whip balls into the box, mix it up by coming inside and dribbling into the box, look to go down easy.
SS - Play between the midfield and the main striker, link up play, hang just outside the box when there's period of pressure and look for loose balls
ST - Hang on the shoulder of the deepest CB and look to drag them out of position, anticipate the ball and look to burst into the box for crosses or one-twos.
These shall then be posted on the board and results will be posted on Monday.

Re: Realistic Premier League
A number of clubs in the league get a loss less press links so as long as you justify the transfer and that the move makes sense it will probably go through.

For example Xavi is at the tail end of his career, he's worth prob 10m tops in RL but is he going to join a Premier League club that isn't in Europe despite a silly offer etc, prob not.

Anyone here fancy taking over Olly's team in the Euro Division? He has left behind the current league champions Ajax, a very nice job for someone.

Hero
Just ignore Leffy regarding this site, I think it's great and you run it really well it must be really hard work and I wouldn't be able to manage it.
He's as bitter as a lemon but it's understandable, we worked out yesterday that he fathered a child at the age of 11
Just my opinion, thanks for the hard work

Re: Realistic Premier League
LRF is just a simpleton at the end of the day, I think the vast majority of people over on Ja are well verse to his idiocies. Azzy though is one I'm disappointed in, he has a falling out here that he was as just as much to blame for yet spits his dummy out of the pram and then mouths off there despite through reading through his comments has a number of people already calling him an idiot there.

Re: Realistic Premier League
Week 2 Results - Sorry their not as long as Trebs
Stoke City 2-0 West Bromich Albion
Stoke City run out winners against WBA with an easy 2-0 win after Finnbogson & Ireland score in a easy win.
Tactical Analysis - Stoke won today but against better sides the diamond formation may see them exposed.
Sunderland 1-3 Norwich City
A goal fest at the stadium of light with Norwich coming back from 1-0 down to win 1-3
Tactical Analysis - Sunderland playing a retired Owen Hargreaves was a terrible move as was Adam Johnson in the centre of the park, Norwich were well drilled and kept them at bay with ease
Aston Villa 1-1 Fulham
A close affair at Villa Park with both sides going away with a point.
Tactical Analysis
Both sides tactically tried to out do each other with both managers getting it terribly wrong. Villa control the game but Fulham look more like scoring.
Newcastle Utd 3-1 Crystal Palace
Comfortable result at St James' Park today as a rampant Newcastle take Palace apart and looked every inch the title contender as most expect.
Tactical Analysis: The quality of the Newcastle side were a class above the newly promoted side, Palace need to sort out the side quickly or risk relegation yet again
West Ham Utd 4-3 Cardiff City - Game of the day
A goal fest at Upton Park with the Hammers just edging a stubborn Cardiff side out.
Tactical Analysis: Both managers seemed to go with the we're score 1 more then you ploy but this eventually fell into West Ham's favor with the late winner. Both sides need to take a look at their leaky defenses and could use more firepower up front.
