In the market for a jumper, hooker and prop cover. Any player technically sellable except Parra and Cruden will take a huge offer

Tidy, now you just need a hooker that can throw

Ball won't need to leave the field with that pack
One bad game doesn't make Tom Youngs a bad thrower , Lawes movement in the lineout that game was terrible just went straight up and didn't 'move' into the channel to get across his aussie number.

One bad game doesn't, throwing has always been his weakness. He was terrible, got ok, now where?

Re: Super League Homepage
He'll get better, if he can go from being coached into a international hooker from Championship centre he's deffo a very coachable player.
Thompson couldn't throw for sh it originally but became on of the best throwers in the world.

True, but last week isn't the one off, he throws front jumper 90% of the time, it kills our options

He'll improve , Cockers knows how to coach forwards and having Rowntree with him at England is a big help.

Re: Super League Homepage
Right I have re-administered some budgets to account for the bias in some players.
The idea of the quota was to prevent the basis of super sides as some teams in the old ERL/WRL would be too good compared to some other sides. Now obviously some sides had some bias to fulfilling that requirement, but all I will say was that it was your choice in picking you side. This was the hope that it would stimulate a bit more activity to start off, and hence some people couldn't be so tentative and just kick back on what they already had.
I'm afraid to admit it, but some will have to work a little harder to get some deals done. And at the end of the day I had mentioned numerous times about the quota before we started and it is a little bit of a kick in the teeth that it has become an issue now - as we are trying to start out. I'm glad however that you are all willing to discuss the issue though!
Having always started off with difficult sides and in my experience its not so hard but, I will end on one quote 'you have to lose some to gain some'.

No mate they won't open until Monday. Just ease back please as well. Your comment about it being the time of the month was a bit over the mark if I'm being honest.
The game is still on, if Pooly wants drop out thats fine. We can look to someone else to take his role.

Mate, if you think that's over the mark then I think you probably need to lighten up a bit.
Pooly has had a strop and dropped put because you increased the SH teams budgets. To be fair the only reason for taking that course of action is if you are pre menstrual.

I'm certainly not in a strop over budgets, I was expecting nothing so was chuffed with 25m.
It's the constant complaining and whining.
I can't be bothered reading it or getting involved in it.

Re: Super League Homepage
Only caught part of the match, looked encouraging to me but frustrating that we could not get the win. In the end all of the complaining and goading on here afterwards has been due to some severely moved goalposts- first we were going to lose all 3 tests, then Australia, who had been on the up, were terrible because we beat them, then Argentina, who were on the up and would overpower us and kill our scrum, were second rate/didn't turn up for the first Hal because we beat them but we were still Poopie for not beating them by 50, then New Zealand, apparently of the country's best sides in recent years and easily the best team in the world, were going to kill us by 30 plus points but then when we had a match we could of won we were actually crap and should feel really bad about how crap we are at rugby. Add in that all of our tries were lucky and the refs al wanted us to win all the time and I'm pretty peed off with how pathetic lots of people on this site are right now

You reckon? I've got lock and 7 as my positions to improve, so Retallick was an obvious call for me. Kruger as the lineout caller, Retallick, the enforcer is a nice combo i reckon

Buying a foreign to increase our trading options is risky though, especially as there are other areas of the Toulouse squad that need addressing.
