Whisenhunt got the Poopie end of the stick in Arizona, but still did pretty well. Deserves another HC chance.

Whisenhunt is apparently in the running for the Lions job.
And regarding the Cutler contract:
I think the expected high is something like -20, although it'll probably be more like -30.RDuncan8 wrote:Anyone got the actual figures? Like actual, windchill, feels like etc? In degree celsius preferably.
And regarding the Cutler contract:
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet wrote:#Bears QB Jay Cutler’s contract: 7 years, $126 million with $54M guaranteed.
What does that mean, effectively, for the #Bears? That Jay Cutler will be their QB for at least the next 3 years. That’s what’s guaranteed.

Who would people like to see in the Super Bowl (apart from obviously your own team). There could be some intriguing match-ups such as Alex Smith facing his old team, Chiefs vs 49ers. Andy Reid facing his old team, Chiefs vs Eagles. Rodgers facing off with either Brady or Manning or perhaps Manning going up against the Saints again ala 2011. How about the 49ers vs Bengals Part III?

I've accepted Zimmer won't get a HC job at this point. Mike Silvers pushing the name of his BFF Hue Jackson as ever

I'm not sure Whisenhunt was that unfairly treated. Tied himself to (many) bad QBs

You can forget about any Chiefs scenarios, they arent facing backup qb's anymore. They got found out down the stretch, they ain't very good
Fancy the Bengals to come from the AFC in all honesty, and the Packers from the NFC

I'd like to see Bengals v Panthers. Something a bit different from the usual suspects and which no-one would have predicted at the start of the season. That'd be a pretty close, competitive game too I reckon.

Bengals have lost twice the the 49ers in the 1980s. The Panthers lost to the Patriots in 2004. The Eagles and Seahawks are the other playoff teams not to have won it.Pr4wn wrote:Not sure that either of them have ever won it either...

SO Jerry has come out in support of widening the playoffs... I wonder why... maybe the Cowboys could avoid last day jitters this way... or not...

Looks like Munchak will probably be back in Tennessee, but will have to replace some of his staff.

Jeff Tedford as OC and Leslie Frazier as DC for Lovie Smith in Tampa. Pretty strong looking staff.
Guy called Chris Ballard (who works for the Chiefs now) is the favourite for the GM position there.
